Paper mario got a 8.8. Discuss!!!!!!!!!

Well, we all know that Gamespot is always biased and stuff, is PaperMario any fun? I was going to buy the first game that was release for Gamecube but change my mine. Anyways do you argee with this score??

I haven't played it yet, but I did watch the 4 hr gaming marathon that GS held. After seeing it, I have to agree with the points made in the review. I'll agree with the score too. It's a great game but not AAA worthy.

Do you suppose we'll see another massive sheep exodus with this one?

I'm not a guy that really cares about fanboys and their hype/flop system. If GameSpot sais it is a great game, people should get it. 8.8, great... I better pick i up ;)

I'm going to get the game eventually, but not until I get through Pokemon D/P. 

If it's not 9.8, it's not worth playing.

However, System Wars logic sucks, so I'm going to play the hell out of that game. :)

We all know the Oblvion debate,when it launched on 360 it was called exclusive,now it's on Ps3 as well. Hence it can be used in a debate as a Ps3 exclusive.Dualshockin

Wait, what?  Do you know what the word "exclusive" means?  It means it only coming out for one console, if its out on another one, it is not exclusive.

Anywho, while 8.8 is a great score, and i plan to get this game, it is still ownage since the game was hyped to be AAA by us sheep.  So we (sheep which includes me) have been owned by this score.

it's not AAA at gamerankings either and an 8.8 is not the lowest score it has received. :|

lets not forget it's still the 2nd exclusive wii game to outscore resistance

considering i wasnt hyping it AAA, it delivered in my expectations...

(ie: sheep flopped for hyping it AAA, the game still delievers great gameplay despite being little more than a gc port) 

ps3 2007 exclusives so far... still only 2 AE racers

months until the next ps3 exclusive

Dont feed the troll.  By all indications he doesnt even own a Wii.  Hes only stiring up trouble right now even if he thinks he has good intentions. 

Since when is 8.8 a flop? It was generally considered high AA to low AAA and that's exactly what it got. 8.8 is better than every console game this year except Oblivion (port of the GOTY last year according to alot of sites), Guitar Hero II (Port), God of War II (GOTY so far). JLei2k

8.8 is pretty durned close.  I mean, you can't really call it a bad game.  Would it be magically better if it was .2 pts. higher?

Sure, then it wouldn't be a flop, but would it be "better"?  (I guess in the reviewer's opinion, but I could give a rat's *** about the points lost due to graphics/sound).  9 in gameplay and a 10 in tilt tell me what I need to know.
