normally there would be a poll for this thread but eh, GS tends to shy away from giving 3ds games anything higher than AA.

It going to be hard to top Kid Icarus, but I think this will still be great. Can't wait for Sunday to come around.

Mario is such a ridiculously good franchise. I may pick this up.

The long cold wait is almost over.

I still need to play Super Mario 3D land, resident evil revelations, mario kart 7, professor layton and the miracle mask, New Super Mario Bros 2, Kid Icarus, etc. I pretty much need to play everything except for Pushmo (unfinished though).

I just cant get into Paper Mario for some reason. Believe me I've tried, but I just get really bored. The writing is always great though.

Yeah, there is no way. I don't own a 3ds and I don't care for Paper Mario and I've heard about this game a thousand times on this board. And I know hes here more often than I am.

I'm planning on getting all of the Paper Mario's some time in the new year and finally sitting down and blasting through them. Also, probably will get a 3DS sometime next year as well. So this will probably be on my list in the near future.Zeviander

Paper Mario is great.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of the best RPGs of all time.

Super Paper Mario feels like a nifty spin-off that creates a platformer/RPG hybrid. Interesting and fun enough for a single playthrough.

All three are worth playing though. I haven't played the handheld Mario RPGs or the SNES Mario RPG, but of the titles Paper Mario games there isn't a bad one. But The Thousand Year Door is the series' finest effort.

I'm still kind of worried about this entry in the series. They did remove a heck of a lot of RPG elements didn't they? I'm hoping for another Mario & Luigi game.

You still get upgrades but you find them instead of grinding exp for them. Instead of having an FP meter you have your album and you have to keep track of how many/what type of stickers you have.

Really excited for this game. Not getting it on launch, but I'll receive it later in the week. Glad the franchise is going back to its original roots.

I'm not sure when I'll actually get the time to play this. I haven't even beat the Elite Four in Black 2 yet. >____>

Thank goodness I'll have Thanksgiving break with mostly nothing but free time to play some games. :)

I will defiently pick this up around the holidays since I'm a sucker my Mario and Paper Mario is so underrated.

Will probably wait and have this game be a Christmas or Birthday gift.

Can't wait to play it though. It's been so long since there's been a new paper Mario.

Remains to be seen. I highly doubt it will match the first two, but it will definitely be a good game at least. I hope it surprises me and is better than I expect.

This will be a very interesting review. I say it gets about an 8.5 on most sites.
