This may be off topic, but, news has just come out that Paramount and Dreamworks are going HD-DVD exclusive. Interesting developments for those following the format war. I myself have the HD-DVD addon for my 360 so this is good news for me.

according to this it's true, but remember this segement:

Sources tell me that Paramount, which has been publishing on both Blu-ray and HD DVD, will receive $50 million to continue publishing in HD. "The deal is that anything they release on Blu-ray, they'll have to release in HD," a source told me. In addition, the studio will give the HD format exclusivity for some older titles in its catalogue.

which leads me to believe this is just a "we won't go exclusive" deal.

Transformers will be a HD-DVD exclusive. The PS3 as a Trojan Horse for the format war takes a bit of a hit.

It is more than not going exclusive,Paramount and Dreamworks will not be supporting Blu-Ray what-so-ever. In fact, they are going HD-DVD exclusive!
