Are you just going to post the "*insert name here* is that some kind of band?" all over?

Why not just get rid of the K/D stat... So no one will care about it and that dumb skill rating. There... Now everyone will have fun and not focus on keeping or raising meaningless stats.

Just put K/D and skill level in hardcore mode.

Well basically all those players are noobs. How many years it took PC gamers as a group to really get out of the deathmatch mentallity? Hell, even when Battlefield 2 got out I could still find people by the truckloads that didn't get it. Double Hell, I can still see some PC gamers in this forum whinning about Battlefield 2 and something regarding their K/D ratio and how unbalanced it was making the game suxxorzz. :|

Console gamers as a group will also eventually get it.

The only thing more annoying then people who cannot play BF right, are the people in BC2 who complain about base raping. You should have seen one group of them lol. You spawn with a gun, use it or die :P. It's not like this is Goldeneye 64 where my buddy was so good at it he could put his cursor over an area where someone would spawn who he just killed and pop them in the head before they had a chance :P.

its bc 2 lingo for people who play recon,dont help the team and sit in tree's or bushes sniping and spamming mortar strikes when they can :P and it sound a hundred times better than camper for some reason xD.

It was the same with Quake as it was with Counter Strike.

They do, but score points matter more. Those things you get when you work together, in a team, to get the objective ;)

Think I just scared CoD players by mentioning "work together in a team" :P

I kinda wish most fighting games and FPS games would do away with the KDR stat and use a seperate system of some kind. Its not because I dont like it, its because I become intently focused on keeping my win/loss or kill/death ratio well above .500 and if I cant it drives me bonkers to the point of not enjoying myself. I know its crazy and I could just ignore it, but I cant.

He's pretty much dead-on. KD means abolutely nothing in BF so long as you aren't 0/14 and being a cancer to your team's ticket counter.

Never did it occur to anyone that you can complete objectives and try to maintain a good K/D.KHAndAnime

These players don't even seem to know the word objectives. They are like "I've had the highest K/D ratio in any of the two teams for the last 8 maps, I'm teh Awesome." Someone else, "Dude your team has lost 7 of the last 8 matches. WTF are you talking about? You have to take the flags! Fool!"
