Pc + 360 must be the worst combo ever

owning a gaming rig and an xbox 360 made me realize how many games I want are available on Pc, leaving the 360 with a handful of games, some of which even end up on Pc, like Alan Wake.

I'm not talking about graphics here, but rather on the system's uniqueness and honestly 360 only seems to shine in the live department with its indie scene, which I'm not willing to shell out 60 euros per year for, matter of principle, because online is free on the other systems.

Exlcusives do matter, I miss the good old days when each system had its won strong identity.

edit: Steam plays a big role as a deciding factor on where to play the games on.

Xbox 360 is nothing more than a water down PC with an identity crisis and an open field to be ripped off and exploited by Microsoft

Actually, it's an awesome combo. Throw the 360 away (since it's worthless), and you're left with the best gaming system (providing you actually have a real gaming PC).

Agreed, I only still play ps3 because of Journey. Unfortunately the closest thing to Journey the Pc has is Dear Esther but that game doesn't even touch Journey's quality... My point is the 360 has nothing that the Pc doesn't have (I know, the 360 has gears, forza and halo but is that unique? no). While the PS3 has plenty of more single player driven, unique experiences.

PS3 has 30 high scoring exclusives. Wii has 35. Then take into account RDR, Dragon's Dogma, Vanquish, Top Spin 4, Ninja Gaiden sigma and it is compensated already.

fair enough although the pc + wii combo would give you access to the highest number that you can't get anywhere else which could be important if you ever want to make a two system combo into a three system combo.

fair enough although the pc + wii combo would give you access to the highest number that you can't get anywhere else which could be important if you ever want to make a two system combo into a three system combo.

My household is pretty much the traditional video gaming type with a preference for Japanese consoles along with both Sony and Nintendo handhelds. We may yet buy a MS console. But, with next-gen looming, we'll most likely go with the 360's successor.

i would say ps3+wii=360+wii

they are very close but statistics give a small edge to the ps3.
