PC and Console

Which do you guys think is better and give reasons why. I prefer a console because of reliability but tell me which one you like. I'm considering purchasing a macbook for high school and i might do some gaming on it through windows.

PS: I know you pc gamers are going to be crawling up my a$$ because of the mac but just get over it. I've practically made up my mind.

To answer your question, I like them the same but right now I have only been gaming on my PC.

First off, consoles being more reliable than PC's is just false, there's nothing to support that.

I by far and away prefer the PC, most games, most highly rated games, most exclusives, best online, mods, etc.

However, if I had to choose between gaming on a Mac vs console, I'd take consoles.

However, if I had to choose between gaming on a Mac vs console, I'd take consoles.

You should really care about the games, not hardware.

Consoles get the big, popular ones from the longest running series. PC gets the unique, smaller ones that play better online.

PC gaming is the hands down best for FPS, RTS, TBS, Sims (race, flight, tank etc.) and MMOs. I prefer consoles for Platformers, Fighting, Arcade Racers, action/adventure, and JRPGs.

They're about equal with WRPGs, there is enough good and bad on both sides for me to say it is a stalemate if you don't unclude mods.

I like the PC better. I prefer the control scheme (for certain genres), and the online and mod support is simply unparalleled on any console. That being said, I like consoles for certain genres and I don't have anything against them.

What he's saying is that gaming and Macs don't go together well. Now that they're using Intel processors, we're starting to see more Mac games, but it's still pretty slim pickings.

Imo, they're not really up against each other.

For some, PC complements consoles. For some, consoles complement PC. And for others, it's either one or the other. But it doesn't matter anyways, because PC will never effectively destroy the console market and vice versa.
