Wii haters claim that just because the Wii sells doesn't mean that it is good. Even trash like 50 Cent Bullet Proof and Enter the Matrix can sell. This is the justification that haters use when they see the Sales Date.

true. Logic hurts fanboys. they can't compete with the wii in terms of sales nor the PC in terms of new games and graphics so the excuses fly.

PC-Wii-PSP is a better combination in my opinion.

You get the best of what's out there. PC offers the best library, best options, and lots of free stuff like online, modifications, etc. The Wii has the gameplay elements and titles that are different and set themselves apart from the PC more than the PS3/Xbox 360. And if you have a nice PC, uhm, the PSP is a must. A gaming machine with complete multimedia capabilities and you're getting your 1st party Nintendo fix with the Wii anyways, might as well enjoy some Ratchet and Clank, God of War, Daxter, and Tekken on your PSP instead of more Mario.

Good thing I have a Wii and PSP, but my PC is weak... I'll have to do something about that...
Eh, I can still run Counter-Strike and Half-Life 2 perfectly though :P

I just need the high end PC to complete this master piece. But I'll wait until Crysis comes out as parts will no doubt be cheaper upon its release then now. I need to catch up on PC gaming anyways my POS has missed out on the last year and a half.

• Sales don't prove quality, whether good or bad. Period.

I don't use an iPod though I use this

an ipod is on a completely diff level from a psp

its... functional... 1 handed... small/light weight... i got a 4gig nano for free actually (mom won it in a jelly bean guessing contest)

shed much rather use that at the gym than my psp... i even got wireless headphones so my gf could use my psp at the gym.. and she bought her own 1 gig mp3player (and i have a 4 gig memorystick on my psp)

the average person.. doesnt care about lossless formats .... when it comes to playing music... the more convenient, the better 

as for sales.. they do matter

it doesn't suggest quality exactly, but it does encourage developers to support said system

which is something that does affect consumers

DS, PC, Wii, and IPOD is the only way to go.

Better have the best of all worlds then just have best of one and average of two.

Also to Tekken? The new IPOD shuffle? Noone uses that, everyone uses either the 30GB or 80GB. And I'm sorry but the PSP's small memory sticks won't come anywhere as close in running all my music *consists of over 1000 CD's. And if I wanted REAL multimedia I'd just buy the new IPHONE.

havent you guys heard of a happy medium? Maybe pc is too elitist (ie fascist) and wii is too populist (ie communist).  360 and ps3 are democracy

I see really few reasons in upgrading PC or buying Wii, there is no more PCgames even near level of Mafia or Max Payne, and about Wii: I played several hours in "sports" red steel and excite truck and i am dissappointed, the only game I'm interested in is Spider-man (ofcourse worldwide famous gamedesighners promised to create some games for Wii, but there is no more news about it, since their words)

I'm still PlayStation fan (already 10 years).

I wouldn't touch any piece of trash that comes from Apple - thats the reason I haven't bought an MP3 player yet - they all suck. I'm praying a new model of the Zune will show some promise with Live connectivity or whatever in the next year.

And as far as the topic of the thread, I think I'm going PCWii60DS this gen. 360 has some games that are just to good to pass up (I'm looking at you Gears) and Halo 3 will let me fufill my lifelong dream - to frag people as a raging 8 foot tall gorilla.

There are other MP3 Players not made by Apple you know. 

Ipod is better than PSP in terms of multimedia functions and portability IMO. PSP is just too big and its shape for a multimedia portable device is uncomofrtable. you need a case for it in bringing it outside whereas Ipod Nano and other Ipods can be put inside our pockets.lordlors

As far as portable movies and tv goes, the psp eats the i-pod for breakfast. for music obviously the i-pod wins, its a mp3 player lol.Ospi

Not exactly. Sony and Creative Labs have the best sound processors in the game. Apple on the other hand. I mean, if you're using $50 headphones you might not notice, but on high end headphones and audio equipment, the sound quality from the PSP or a Creative Labs product is way better than Apple.
