Try getting games to run in DOS back in the day and you run into memory issues or irql_not_less_or_equal....that was annoying as hell back in the day. Ever since DOS was phased out back in Windows ME (??? - going from memory without trying to dig the information up) you ran into a lot less issues getting games to run.
Once XP hit the shelf it wasn't long after that most games were simple to play on a PC. Insert disc, install game, run game. If you weren't aware of the necessary system specs required to run the game and your computer was lacking - then that was your own damn fault.
You run into almost no issues with gaming on the PC these days. The hardest thing these days is the need to maybe update your video driver for the newly released games that come out and sometimes the initial driver release isn't the best so you'll have to keep an eye out for the next one to get released.
Most of the newer games that come out are not ready to actually be released due to bad performance (look at the last Batman game - ran like shit on the PC). The game in the video the OP posted is typical on PC (and even consoles) when they release. Usually (as sad as it is) the developer needs to patch the issues in the game still and the patch will come out 3-6 weeks after the game releases.
In the video when he comments on running an old game from 2004 on windows 10 and he had issues - fucking retard. It's been known that older games (games made back in the day for XP or even Vista) can have issues running on the latest Windows 10. Usually just installing and running the game in compatibility mode will resolve most of the issues. Anyone decent enough with computers will have a dual boot system if they are really, really set on playing older games and wish to avoid the headaches that Windows 10 might bring with the much older games.
I can dual boot under Windows 7 or XP on my machine. I could even just build a stand alone XP computer for those older games that may not run well or at all under Windows 7. Do I want to play these older games that I have....not really. There are very few older games that I own that I might want to play.
The video guy claims that maybe 10-15% of his games he can't get to run (well) on his PC....hahahahahahahahaha....HAHAHAHAHAHA!
What a joke of a video and then the OP makes a thread about it.
