PC Gamer Purchases a 360, Impressions and Opinions

Bad for you, PC owned everything back in times and I played only 5 good avia simulators per year in the end of 90-th, you just couldn't play all good games cause too much of them.

I will not argue that games like MMO's, PC RPG's and RTS keep me coming back for more all the time on my PC but to say it's more fun than my PS3/360 on my 40" 1080p LCD is rubbish. Note: Price isn't an issue for me and yes my PC is connected to the 40" as well.

In my opinion, consoles have finally given people an alternative to PC gaming with out any of the PC gaming hassels.

Why would you buy a 360 this late in the game and not know that the games look like trash on an SDTV?

What did you expect? That's like buying a PC with a crappy videocard and getting pissed that you can't play the games at maximum resolution.

For 720p you could play 360 with your PC screen.RK-Mara

Doesnt even fit monitors properly, it has av ery limited choice of resolutions ...

I cant get it to look right on my 1650 x 1050.

Works fine on my monitor at 1280x1024. Every game works fine except Oblivion which stretchs. All other games play in Letter Box. I like what my VGA monitor looks like more then my HDMI HDTV. And hell im using a 10$ cable for my monitor.

Thats because 1280 x 1024 is one of the very few options that the 360 actually supports ...
