PC gamers have no game to play

Its been 5months since i stopped gaming and when i come back to see its same old Sh!t.No games on pc.Its either some bad ports or games with unplayable DRM. I tried mass effect 2 and i have to say its biggest snorefest game i have ever played.Its incrediably booring.Half way through the game and i stopped playing.

Only game i am having fun playing now is just cause 2 and TF2.Its sucks to be a pc gamer.All you can do is play some Sh!ty old games on your monster PC.

Its not worth buying a gaming PC now a days.

So because there aren't any recent PC games that you enjoy, the rest of us "have no game to play"? I admire the objectivity of what you are trying to say here; it's a lot like the speed of a snail in that there's not a lot of it.

Indeed. If you've "been away for 5 months" and you found nothing that you like to play, you must really have horrible taste, TC.

Stick to Consoles. I on the other hand i'm enjoying Stalker Call of Pripyat and the best version of Metro 2033 and i'm gonna get Battlefield BC2 ( pc version has Ded servers and 32 players on top of better graphics )adamosmaki

Why care so much about recent games when there is probably plenty of awesome games you have not played in the past.

Games like The longest Journey or Planescape Torment.

There is the new expansion to Dragon Age too which is an great game.

Metro 2033 is good too.

Did you know that if you go put 5 bucks down on SC2 at gamestop you get a beta key on the spot and can go home and immediately start playing the game that blows away all console releases this year, sans Reach if your a huge shooter fan. Hello mcfly!

Actually in a way, its better than the original, seeing as you don't have to as many gimmicky things like bowling or go drinking. And they are alot more actionpacked too

I'm in a 200+ hours Battlefield Bad Company 2 killing spree, and I just obtain access to the Starcraft II beta. I think that I'll beat the 1.000 hours with only these two games this year, so busy to take care about the other ones I'm interested on (Lost Planet 2, Rage, Brink, Arrowhead, Crysis 2... ).

Consoles have gotten some cool games in the last month but I don't like any of them so console gamers must not have any games to play right? Play the system that caters to your tastes and if no new games come out then get 'old' ones. New PC games come out one every few months that interest me while I am still buying 10 year old games occasionally since the platform has SO many games.

i'm swamped with PC games atm

bought both the codemasters and rockstar collection packs

on top of that i'm finally getting around to finishing fallout 3

i also bought metro 2033 two weeks ago and i'm playing that atm

i'm also finally getting into STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, and there's still 2 more games on the list

then there's Dragon Age Origins: Awakening which i still need to get

and Bioshock 2 which i had a lot of fun with, and still play the MP sometimes

then there's Mass Effect 2 and the DLC which i've spent a ton of time playing

i also got The Witcher which i haven't had much time to play

also earlier this year i got Serious Sam HD, Shadowgrounds/Survivor, and Trine on steam on discount, haven't had much time to play those, tho Serious Sam is a ton of fun online

also finally got around to getting a copy of Planescape Torment, which i played a few minutes of but haven't had much time

and when i finish with Fallout 3 i'm thinking of eventually going back and playing Fallout 1 and 2 which i've never played

i also got COD4 on sale since i was thinking of selling off my PS3 version anyways, and then there's Left 4 Dead 2 which i still play sometimes

yeah... it's your own damn fault if you're bored dude :roll:

You must be blind or a troll because people already mentioned a bunch of games.

And an expansion is new, it adds new story and content.

Otherwise you might as well not count sequels or prequels as new games.

So have you played The Longest Journey or Planescape?

Why don't expansions count? They can offer more content than many games on the market.

Furthermore, nobody has mentioned a game for PC that YOU have liked recently. Many PC gamers are enjoying recent releases.

pc this gen has very few exclusives i care for . i loved pc last gen for sure nothing touched it . but this gen i find consoles are getting the most attention and some of the best games this gen like mario galaxy and mgs4 .

Don't know what to say to you. If you don't like Mass Effect 2, the best game of the year, maybe you're just out of luck or you should not be PC gaming. One of PC gaming's major advantages is CRPG's.

Hard to see how ME2 could be boring between the constant action and reasonably good characters. I'd advise you to wait for Starcraft or Diablo, or maybe just sell your PC altogether.

I am currently playing: L4D2, TF2, SC2 beta. I don't need a new game every few months. I find some that I like and stick to them for a while.

Steam always ensures that I have WAY TOO MANY games to play. Right now on my plate are Bully, Supreme Commander 2, Just Cause 2, Space Rangers 2, X3, Dawn of Discovery, Medievel 2, Ballad of Gay Tony, The Witcher and Torchlight.

I have no idea what you have to be smoking to say that the PC has no games.

OH NO NO NEW GAMES QQ QQ QQ QQ. If you didnt like mass effect 2, what kinda games do you like? you have TERRIBLE taste in games. i have literally 17 games qued which i dont know how im going to finish them. You know what, just quit pc gaming then, go join those 8 year old console whiners.
