Looking a this list shows that PC is back at the top. 16/35 of these titles are Exclusive to PC and PC has the most AAAE's.

Nothing on that list really interests me at all. I don't even know if I'll get Spore. I'll look into it more.

Edit: Oh, wait... I'll fo' sho' get Left 4 Dead for my PC, and I didn't know that Gran Turismo 5 was coming to the PC.

I'm a Wii gamer. I like titles such as Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, No More Heroes, Super Paper Mario, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and a lot more games.

I'll word what I meant better: I'd most definitely play STALKER: Clear Sky if given the opportunity, but I won't lose any sleep if I never play that game. I don't even think my PC can run it.

You put Gran Turismo 5 on there.

Take it off. Rumors or "we're considering, possibly, a PC port," do not equal official announcements.

Every Capcom console-to-PC port....come to think of it, any Capcom game that wasn't developed first on the console in question (big exception....Xbox 360) is garbage. Their ports are just criminally bad.

Just remove Gran Turismo 5 already and acknowledge that DMC4 and Mass Effect aren't exactly going to benefit from "dedicated servers" and "free maps."

Mods are only a bonus on online games are games with garbage singleplayer that need mods like Oblivion.

Anyway, a multiplat is a multiplat, mods or otherwise. How about you crack mods up as a bonus for PC and not for the individual games developed on PC?

Would you, in all seriousness, say Lost Planet is better on PC versus 360 because it had mods?

I just said that those titles didn't interest me. I know that a lot of people think Starcraft 2 is the second coming of Jesus Christ, but he already came again under the name of "Super Mario Galaxy" for me.

so paying a couple hundred more for a PC is entirely worth some user created content, maps, and "real HD"? i'll be honest when I say that the PC does have these things, but most people will buy and judge a game based off of what's out of the box. in my opinion, the only games that had really enjoyable mods/extra content worth getting the PC version for would be Jedi Academy, Oblivion, and HL2. everything else is just fine the way it is

Because consoles are aimed towards casual people, while the PC its self is aimed towards people with a degree of knowledge regarding hardware and software. Consoles don't have to carry that burden, so that alone makes them more acceptable. Also something people need to stop doing is smashing all the consoles together to compete against PC. PC is a single platform just like the Wii, 360 and PS3.

I don't know, have you ever asked your self the question is paying 2x more for the same game worth it? I in most cases always pay $29.99 and below for my PC games while you have to pay $59.99. Here are a few things to consider, when you say consoles you are lumping all 3 of them against PC. So you might as well add up the price for all 3, which is well above a decent gaming rig. And second, after you add up the cost of accessories and games over the course of time. It costs WAY more than PC gaming by far. Think about it man, $59.99 per game vs $29.99 per game. If I brought 10 PS3 games during the course of the year then thats $600+tax. If I brought thats $300+ tax. Sadly, most people don't even want to see this reality.

You have things in reverse, PC is the platform where its not a "do it for you". But you need a degree of knowledge to have things shaped to your liking. Most people don't understand about hardware such as videocards etc. Most don't even know what type of ram their motherboard uses or how much it has. With consoles that reality isn't there. You just buy it, buy a game and insert and play. That's it. There is no complexity only simplicity and if it wasn't simple then it wouldn't sell. You want to know why everyone lumps consoles together vs PC? Because PC beats every single one individually.

Lost Odyssey, GTAIV, Ultimate MK3 (via XBLA), Eternal Sonata, Assassin's Creed (at the time before PC version was announced), Soul Calibur IV, RE5, Operation Darkness, Ikaruga, and various others that may possibly be available on PC as well, but I can save myself the trouble of spending more to upgrade.
