PC gaming dead? I dont think so.....

Why does everyone always say that PC gaming is dead or is dying. First of all, ALL games are created on PC's. That fact alone assures that the PC will always be a gaming machine. Second, there are so many experiences that gaming on a PC offers that have yet to be found on consoles. Genres such as RTS, MMO, FPS and RPG(Fallout New Vegas, Mass Effect and Dragon Age) are all better on PC. Now dont get me wrong, I still much prefer to sit on my couch and play games on my XBOX 360 on my 42" Plasma, but to say PC gaming is going to be gone soon is just beingignorant Imo. Your thoughts?

PC gaming being dead is usually touted out of ignorance to specific instances. However, that's not to say that people saying "PC gaming is dead/dying" don't make some good points... Just not very often :P

It is not dying since there isn't a "face" behind PC, but as a PC owner, I can tell you when PC gaming will die with an actual fact.

Go outside and look up into the sky. You see that bright circle up there? That is the sun. When that goes out, PC gaming is screwed.

I guess it's because there's more money to be had for producing xbox/ps3 games nowadays, so everybody focuses on that :( it's ridiculous though - PC gaming is the best and most affordable IMO

Its not dead. But it is depressing to walk into my local game store where 90% of the wall is 360/ps3/wii and theres a little bit in the corner with 5+ year old pc games and 3 new one :(emperorzhang66

Your store does not equal everywhere else though.

PC gaming has switched more to digital or at least online bought.
