When I come to the gamespot forums I usually like to see nice long threads filled with interesting things, whether it includes players reviewing games they've played, ignorant fanboys arguing with smart people that provide things like "facts" and "reasoning" in their posts, or sometimes I just like to read threads like this . But nearly every day I see the same "PC Gaming is dead OMG confirmed lolz" topics. Now I dont care whether you agree with it or not really....but can we just drop the stupid subject already? It's been going on for years already and its just been the same crap over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....................and over and over and over and over and over. No matter what proof of "PC gaming dying" people bring to the forums, no matter how long the "AAAE list for PC gaming is", this huge debate never ends. I cant think of a good closing for this little speech of mine so just cast your vote on top of the page and lets get this over with (hopefully).
I don't mind if consoles fanboys want to go an say it.
What bugs me is that they use the SAME ARGUMENTS every single day.
Arguments which have been conclusively and repeatedly dispelled.
In fact, the only original arguments people ever bring to the subject are incredibly inane ones like Tamarind Face claiming since HE bought a laptop recently PC gaming must be dying.
Pc gaming can't die. Even if there is no new games (impossible in theory), people will continue to play with the thousand already available and make more mods.
As long as there are PCs there will be games on them, at least to a minimal degree (solitare, minesweeper!). So technically there's more of a chance that console gaming dies out before PC gaming cause we'll always have PCs! ;)
