"By all accounts, Windows continues to lead the gaming industry worldwide in both users and total revenue, and DFC Intelligence expects the PC gaming market to grow by a staggering 73 percent from 2007 to 2013....

Sales figures for Age of Conan come as no surprise to those who follow the industry. With Yankee Group Research Inc. expecting online PC gaming revenue in North America to reach $3.89 billion by 2012, the big picture continues to look bright. "

I'm sure consolites will still be too busy enjoying their annual big name releases to care about PC Gaming...

Only people who are sick and tired of WoW went to play AoC (AoC is a pretty decent game) which is a lot of people.

MMOS shine on PCs no contest while everything else is pretty mediocre except a few FPS and RPGS.

An independent analysis group said it.

Funnily enough, the game in your sig is being supported by the same PR that you're advocating against. :|

I could care less about this numbers crap that they are throwing at us. Show us some Ep 3 or Stalker and I will get excited for that. This means nothing to me.

Hurrazh for money.

Its nor surprise really, the PC is expanding more rapidly than any other system because the huge increase in bandwith speeds and decrease of costs. Digital Distribution, online games, casual games, mmos and browser based games are like a typhoon.

As for AoC, I still cant beleive its sold out here STILL. I keep hearing people at the EB I go by each day inquring about it. Baffles me that it that popular on release.
