Which do you prefer, gaming on a PC or a Console and why? I own an xbox 360 (I love it with passion, lol) but my friends recently got a gaming PC, and it seems pretty cool, but the keyboard and mouse just isn't my thing. So what do you guys think?

Keyboard and mouse isn't my thing either but I use a 360 gamepad which works perfect
I own a 360, PC and PS3 and I love them all but any multiplat that comes out for all 3 I get on the PC just because of the better graphics and higher res
I own a 360, PS3 and a PC and here's how I rate them:
1st: PC
2nd:
360 3rd:
I find the keyboard and mouse combo better for most genres, though for some i'll still choose the controller
I like console gaming over PC gaming. There are more games that interest me, and I like the controls better. Now...
Consoles as a whole > PC for me. SOme games I wouldn't be able to play on console ever again (Left 4 Dead for example), but I find my time on console much more enjoyable than what the PC has to offer. There's just more charm in console gaming that the PC lacks, imo.
PC gaming & console gaming are the same. Any game the PC can be done on the console with the exception of MMOs & amount of playable players on a MP game. The only difference betweent them is graphic qualtiy & control [keyboard/mouse, gamepad]
I choose console gaming for this reason. I can get the same graphics, same games on a much cheaper, easy to use machine . . . . & this machine was desgined for gaming.
With PC you have to have the knowledge &ability to build, maintain & operate these machines. Something i don't know how to do. I can post comments, browse the internet, besides that i'm clueless on how to operate a PC properly. Maybe i should have taken computer classes in school more seriously.Console gaming requires me to buy the game, console, pop in the disc & i'm good to go. Makes more sense for me.
I don't want to build my console, i want it already made. I don't want to buy the parts for a car & buildthe vehicle myself. I just want to buy the car.
Also when i think of gaming i think of nintendo, mario, etc, the console.
This right here. I've been a pc gamer. But there's no X-Wings or Privateers these days. I don't have the time or money for MMOs right now. DoW is great, but I don't really care amout any other RTS's. There's some exclusive shooters, but its not like that's a genre in short supply, and the ones that people make a fuss over are making their way over anyway... Consoles, on the other hand get Uncharted, LBP, Rock Band, Demon/Dark Souls, MGS, FF, GoW, Resistance, infamous, and all the pc multiplats... and since all three consoles is still less than a good gaming pc, add in forza, gears, halo, mario, zelda, metroid... I'm not saying console games are better for everyone, but for me... all the games I want are on consoles.Console gamer because the best franchises are on consoles.

There is no way that a console will even come close to being able to run even Flight Simulator 2004 much less Flight Simulator X. This also includes iL2 Sturmovik, Lock On: Modern Air Combat, or DCS Black Shark or DCS A-10.

If I could get away with posting just a pic I would. Still, I will let the picture do the talking.

That is a sleek looking case. I like it a lot
They got a new case that is all black made by the same company that made the Icon case I have.

I like both. People who genuinely like games do not bicker about which box is better. That being said I try to get the versions of games that most reflect the developer's vision when they make it. Sometimes that means I'll buy PC version which has higher details (closer to the developer's original development assets, not compressed or shrunk to work on something else). Sometimes it means I'll buy a console version of a game if the gameplay videos seem to indicate that it would be more suited to it. Then there are the times you get horrible ports to the PC, as was the case with resident evil 4.
