PS3 is only backwards compatible with PS1 games.  PC is backwards compatible with all of them

Gaming on a big screen tv with a controller is the best way to go not because I say so but the number of consoles sold says so. Plus not all games run smooth on PC's and you have to make choices before you can even start to play the game half the time! With consoles you put it in and play

Keyboard and mouse is great.

Not all games run smooth on consoles either.

My monitor has a higher video quality than most TVs

My games start up fast (faster than a console) because thay are stored on my hard drive and not some external disk.

Wow, this is a new thread entirely. Never heard this one. I will respond the same as always. My friends play with the 360. I'd prefer to play with friend instead of strangers. I find game controllers more comfortable. I prefer a large variety of games to choose from besides WRPGS, FPS and RTS. And before you say the PC has more, let me ask you when was the last time you saw a decent Fighting game, JRPG or platformer on the PC? The PC may have some, but nothing very new and I'd prefer to play some new games over some old. Consoles are generally more user friendly. And last, there are many game series exclusive to consoles that I would not give up for PC gaming. I've tried PC gaming and I just don't like it that much. Just accept thae fact it's not for everyone.vashkey
