Dosnt have any new,good games or the processing power.

People have been predicting the death of PC gaming for a looooong time now.

And they are always wrong.

No new/good games is a matter of opinion. But that pc doesn't have any processing power? What are you talking about? A top end PC can work circles around every console on the market. You know what, never mind, I never should have clicked on the thread.

If processing power is so important, and we don't have enough, then why do PC games look better graphically than console games 99% of the time ?

New games ->like others said just starcraft 2 diablo 3 are enough reasons to own a gaming pc ( other exclusive new games include dawn of war 2, Empire total war, demigod, natural selection, chrome 2 let alone free games like americas army 3, trackmania nations, battlefields heroes and all the free mods)

Yes you are right...pc gaming is going downhill, but console's are already at the bottom of the hill.

I don't know about you, but right now on my PC I'm playing

Mirror's Edge- whiich is noticably better than console versions

Tears to Tiara- a game fully translated by fans (beat that consoles!)

Cryostasis- which make modern console horror shooters look like a joke

Crayon Physics- once again proving PC is the most innovative platform out there

and most of all Black Shark, amazing simulator (a genre that doesn't exist on consoles at all) and something I'm enjoying more than anything consoles have offered this gen so far.

So PCgaming might be going downhill for you, for me january 2009 is just amazing so far when PC perspective.

Agreed. I bet the new Nivida videos games (the 300 series) will have more processor power than the 360 all together.

PC gaming is in great shape if you like one of the following: A. The Sims B. MMORPGS C. RTS Everything else was in much better shape around 2000. dc337
