Look, all I know is Apex Legends runs like ass on the Xbox One X while it runs super smooth on the PC that I built with my wants/needs in mind. But on PC, the gamers are worlds better at the game so I suffer through the performance on the X to get more kills from time to time.

Although I'd have to disagree. It's more a case of consoles becoming more PC like these days. The only PC consoles I can think of are the Steam boxes, though it's not like anybody acknowledges their existence anymore.

If you build a pc its a diy pc not a console. Most people still buy them pre-built.

I built my own PC, it's a DIY PC not a DIY console. Some games I like to play with my controller, like a console game, but my PC is still a PC, not a console.
