Pc Never Winter Nights 2 vs fable console

I would say that even the rpg's for PC is wany better than console. Bio-wares never winter nights 2 rocks! I am playing that right and mass effect. However I am playing more of never winter nights2 than mass effect.

Any to the point never winter nights 2 rpg is way better than fable. I get 65 hours with no mods from never winter nights gold. If I get mods for the ths game my content value goes up. I would say that never winter nights 2 is way better rpg than fable that lacks alot of depth and is very short game. I get way better story and hours played with never winter nights.

never winter nights 2 out beats any rpg to date for single player game play.

IMO NWN1 was alot bettter than part 2. I couldn't get into part 2. Also if you looking at scores, I believe Mass Effect got a 9.0 on the PC.

PC games, especially in genres like WRPGs which have traditionally been very strong on the platform, are held to standards in their respective genres, on their respective platforms.

That's why comparing different genres and different systems is often a case of apples vs. oranges.

It was a significantly improved version over the 360 version. GameSpot also rounds up and down by 0.5 increments now, so you'll see the standards issue play less of a role.

Fable seemed too light I barely considerate it an RPG. Feels more like a Zelda adventure type. Very short game as well. NeverwinterNights 2 has a disappointing 2/3, it it has show-stopping bugs and a very bad game engine. The last third of the game is excellent though, the game is about 50-60 hours if you do it all. I am told Obsidian raised there game with Mask Of the Betrayer. Which I plan on purchasing. From those two, NeverwinterNights 2 mainly because it's not a light RPG and I like D@D. Kez1984

I agree the console sucks at the RPG type that NWN is, but its still very boring anyway.

PC has much better games that.

I have NWN2, I have mass effect. To me Mass Effect is way, way, way, way, way better.

I couldn't bring myself to complete the bore that is NWN2, it has sat on my HD unplayed for lets see *goes to check*...last used 3/2/2008.

I have played through ME 2 times, and am working on my third, it is way more enjoyable than NWN2. NWN2 is so mind numblingly boring that I would have to stab myself in the leg a couple times while playing just for some god damn excitement.

Being a fan of Baldur's Gate, I found NWN 2 to be a good game. I can understand why some people would prefer ME over the D&D engine based games, mostly because of ME being more actively action oriented. However, imo, ME is a horrible game RPG wise. Character skill customization, jobs, item setups, and overall party control were quite bare. Also as someone has mentioned before, they could've done a much better job with ME's side quests, most of the missions felt as repetitive as Oblivion dungeon crawling. It felt as if they were trying to follow in Deus EX's and STALKER's path, but didn't quite nail it.

Anyways, I'm hoping the new Baldur's Gate will be a triumph.

NWN2 came out a while ago.

Its editor is AMAZING,

However singleplayer wise, a (much) better game is TheWitcher

NVN 2 is by Obsidian actually :)

I haven't played it but i enjoy most WRPG's more than Fable 1.

it was me, ill just tell you what tell everyone else, buy NWN2, buy its expansion and skip right over to mask of the betrayer, i loved their expansion

yeah, the first half is pretty tedious with lots of tedious quests like go there capture this, then go there stop them etc. game definitely gets more interesting around the trial part for me
