There are 2 PS3 exclusives I find interesting MGS4 and Killzone 2- the previous Killzones games I was not to impressed with.

Crysis exemplifies some of the finest things about FPS on the PC with it's rich and almost photorealistic details (if you have the monster rig to do that)

and huge Island to roam and tackle situations with a great deal of freedom.

I think Killzone2 has a rich and dark artisic look about it and I say this without Bias I can really appreciate what Guerrila are managing to pull out of the PS3 with the lighting and some of the smooth animation. It has a really immersive atmosphere. Crysis I also looks good but to me it doesn't really stand out or look that unique, maybe because there have been so many FPS on the PC that standards are higher, and with PS3 there are not that many FPS to compare.

Technically Crysis > Killzone 2

but I like Killzone 2's artistic direction and foreboding atmosphere judging by the videos I've seen

regardless I think it looks great I can admit that.

Let's just see if the gameplay can match it

Crysis will be in a league of its own for at least another 2-3 years I predict. Games will come close, but will miss the mark. jfcundiff

crysis and killzone2 both have crappy texture work...but i think i seen better textures in killzone2.

the textures on the peoples cloths on character probley look better on crysis.

but the face's on killzone2 look more realistic...crysis the faces kinda look fake .

Why is everyone in such denial? crysis really isnt impressive....but neither is killzone2.

in crysis it doesnt matter if you got the texture settings on max....all of the moutain wall textures are low resolution lack gen textures.

And can't speak for PC games because mine sucks, but I'd say it's the best looking console game now and in the future.

This game is a game that uses HDR to look good....without hdr this game is atrocious i mean nasty looking.

when you get some HDR/sun shinning on stuff making the stuff glow/look bright it looks badass then.

but crysis is basically all lighting.

My answer is yes. In some areas, like the death animations and post-mortem reactions the work in Killzone 2 is even better than in Crysis, but this is mainly because the extremly restrictive german laws -you known that in Germany oth UT III and Gears are banned because the in game mutilations?-. I must remak this because in Far Cry the death rag doll physics were present, but were taken apart in Crysis because legal restrains.

So yes, KZ2 is the most closest game in consoles to what Crysis means in PC in terms of technical power. An in some ways his artistical style has more credit, is not close to be a equal, but taking in consideration the PS3 hardware Guerrilla Games deserves all the credit.

About Resident Evil 5, the time when a japanese developer will publish a multiplayer shooter that could move more than 6 players without severe lag will be the time when the Hell will be frozen. Japanese are horrid about net code. My god, in RE5 you even can't shoot without stop you move, are you kidding? Also, RE5 shows nothing in graphics, atmosphere or gameplay that Dead Space don't do better.

crysis the character models look good.... a few world textures look decent.

crysis has nice HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE LIGHTING.

but the actual world isnt all that greatly textured id say even unreal tournament 3 looks better overall, with exception crysis better hdr or models.

No, Crysis not only looks better than all other games, it does so on a far bigger scale with a lot of other things going on as well.
