I'd still choose a console over a PC for my gaming hobby any day. that could change though, i just have to get my feet wet i guess.

All systems have their pros and cons. Unfortunately,PCs will never quite be as convenient as a console...

Actually, he'll be having fun while you fight 3 factions at once on the internet.

It depends on the game. Games like infamous and gow would play much netter on ps3 then pc due to controls while pc does rts, rpg and shooters better

PC is much better than consoles, here is why - Mods, they can literally add another game there for you. Online, free and a good community. Graphics - the graphics own consoles, easily anyone who disagrees is a fanboy. Exclusives - Dawn of War 2, STALKER, Crysis, The Sims 3 (A personal choice), World of Warcraft (Flameshield?), Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and proper version of CSS and TF2 the best multiplayer games ever and more games. Controls - Mouse and Keyboard own controlers so much, M&K FTW.LuchadeerIsHERE

Dude that just makes an argument that the PC is better than any single console. It owning consoles is a whole different story, and I'm sure there has been a thread like this at least weekly for some time now.
