I would prefer not to have to pay myself, and I do think that Microsoft is milking it's player base....some. But really, $50 a year is nothing. And if that is required for a unified system, so be it.

I own the PS3 as well & would pay $50 a year in a second to get the same quality & choices that I get with Live. The PS3 store & online service is in it's infant stages & really needs a lot of work.Â

too bad that 50 a year service doesnt have an online game like RFOM running 20 vs 20 battlefights. the 40man battles in RFOM are just 3 levels divided up into one big level. You never actually see 40 opponents as they are in a different(unreachable) part of the map. Also, one mediocre game versus 100+, including Movies/TV shows, seems rather...foolhardy.

PC will always be king of games and online. As far as going between the PS3, 360, and Wii? The PS3's online mulitplayer is a joke, 360 is pricey yet worth it, and the Wii is non-exsistant. Those are the facts. Live with it.

Or you can have a banquet if you create a sort of potluck, or get people to donate food and others to prepare it. A little can go a long way. For those with relatively low IQs and can't understand this analogy, it's the equivalent of online gaming community on the PC.

It's very good, but does have some downsides.
XBL is so good that the hermits made their own version, though I don't know how it compares. Usual PC gamers though don't have friendlist and the ability to invite people from one game to another.

Most gamers enjoy Free Online gaming. 1 group has to cough up $50 a year. $250 for 5 years.
$250 = 5 Free games this generation or a free Wii eventually.

uh is that why 360 is the most hated online comunity on the planet ? where more than half the players are either racists/ bigots/ children/ whiners/ accusers/ etc or a combination of all ?
