It's not like the genre is varied or anything. I don't think Street Fighter 4 is the cream of the crop, though. KoFXII wins in that dept.

Yea, I agree, but I needs more fighters to actually say *hey this genre is alive and well on PC*, SF4, SC, Blazeblue,GGX and tekken would make me think otherwise though.

Both platforms are good. They both offer incredibly different experiences; but neither is better than the other.

There's no way to go around it: gaming is expensive, and if you want the best stuff, you need to spend alot of money. Both PC and Console gaming are expensive.

Bottom line: it's all a matter of preference.

PS3 has Metal Gear Sold IV.

360 has Halo 3.

Those games aren't on PC. All three consoles I named also have other exclusives. So yes, if there are a number of exclusives that you want from other platforms, then there is a point in getting another system. I know for some people that Metal Gear Solid IV alone was enough to warrant the purchase of a PS3. And then, of course, you get games like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, SIREN: Blood Curse, Disagae 3, Folklore, Motorstorm, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Resistance, and the like. So yeah, I say there's enough exclusive games on all platforms to warrant a purchase.

Alright, that's reasonable. As a sub-genre, the peripheral based rythm games are rather underrepresented on the PC. This is probably due to the social nature of Rock Band and GH, and the generally(I said generally, so don't complain) solo experience of PC gaming. The two don't match well. I doubt many people would crowd around a PC to play RB anyway.

This is like saying that because the 360 has Phantasy Star Online and FF11, it is the ultimate MMO machine and is equal with the PC in that genre.

I don't have any need for consoles as it is. Never have had a need for consoles. Been playing essentially only PC since 1990 when i started gaming at age 6. :)

SFIV and NBA2k9 is just icing on the cake. I just noticed 2k9 is $20 on PC and $60 on everything else. :shock:

Ok there is emulators that can be put on the pc to play console games. There is Jrpg and fighting games on the pc it's just not popular in the west. You will find them more in aisa. Pc gaming has every genre known to man.

Holo there is holo on pc it's just that gears of war,holo,fable are not popular. Pc gamers have so meny games that those games are pale compared to the other games.
