Look at the stones/rocks on the PC picture, kinda blurry while the 360 is more crisp....

They are blurry, compressed, and tiny pictures.
You can't compare resolution, you can't compare texture quality, you can't compare lighting all that much due to compression.
About the only thing we CAN compare are some fo the objects, and it's clear that the Pc version has a lot more cluttered, debree on the left. Which makes it look more realistic.
That's all we can kind of get away saying from these pics.
Also, the blurriness of the rocks is probably mpotion blur. The picture was probably snapped as the camera was moving. Again, terrible quality.
When we have full 1080p or higher resolution shots, then we can start comparing. And even then, a lot of subtle stuff that adds up to a better picture will be missing, because it can only be seen when the game is in motion (frame rate, for example).

Ya those 2 rocks look pretty detailed without the grass covering them up :D

Pretty close? LOL. Running this game in PC in FULL HD 1080P with DX 11 + tesselation is going to look like a NIGHT and DAY difference when compared to the Xbox 360 version.
And Rush on PC will be 32 players like BC2, may not be as big of a leap, but hey, extra players wouldn't hurt.=pI don't care much for the larger player count on PC on PC since I don't like conquest that much. However I do want my MP to look like the SP graphics and not that crazy jag fest BF:BC2 on PS3 looked like.

I dont get how any reasonable person would think that PS3 or 360 can compete against a PC with a £100+ graphic card in it. Its just not going to happen its a bit like asking your standard 1.6 Ford Focus to outdrag the Focus RS.

I don't mind that much at all, honestly I like rush the most because it's easier to work as a team with less communication and I end up enjoying it more. It's also because you know where the battle will be! Will all the BF3 maps have a rush version?
From what I can see from such horrible compresse image taken from a video is there is more rock debri on the pc version, If you look closley there is more grass next to the wall on the background, also notice the particles and flame from the burning car behing the soldier which shows a more realistic looking flame. The blur must be because of the shot being taken during motion.
These are the small things that I could notice from such horrible compressed pictures which clearly shows there will be an even bigger difference when comparing resolution, texture quality, AA, AF scale etc.

Yes, they will:http://bf3blog.com/2011/09/battlefield-3-ships-with-9-maps-all-maps-support-all-5-game-modes/
Awesome!!!

This is so ignorant^
if instead those gifs were PS3 vs 360, the internets would explode.Right... You keep thinking that.Look at the stones/rocks on the PC picture, kinda blurry while the 360 is more crisp....

hmm...let me lay this out for the console fanboys to understand clearly. The PC is already in the next next generation of consoles, which would be something like xbox 1080 or something. So there is no way in hell battlefield 3 on xbox would look anything remotely close to what its going to be on the PC. In fact im dissapointed that the game is even releasing for the consoles, it just means the PC is going to be held back by the consoles graphics once again.
Yeah, but Ultra settings will make up for that.hmm...let me lay this out for the console fanboys to understand clearly. Here's a better one.

LOL!
This is what I['m tlaking about. The little things - multiple point lights, DX11 lighting and shadowing, geometric instancing for a ton of debree and physics accelleration for a ton of volumetric smoke - all add up to a HUGE difference.
I mean look at that. the console version looks like same old, same old- like a soldier just threw a firecracker through the window
The explosion on PC makes you go: HOLY *#& WTF?!?!? Did you nuke the place or what man?!
It all adds up to a better experience, because you are more immersed in the world. The beauty of PC gaming.
