PC vs PS360Wii

What is better a $1000 PC which you have to upgrade every couple of years when a new big game comes out and if you want to run the games at the best you have to spend even more and upgrade more. Or you can buy all three consoles for $900 and be set for over a half of a decade.

lets count up AA and AAA exclusives since NOV 06 and see who has had the better games.

PC AAAs since then 2 both expansion packs. nothing new! so i say 0, PC inAAs 11 and i dont know how many expansion packs but yeah not much. and they are probably half or more if not all RTS games. ha ha ha!

360 AAAs 2 halo 3 and forza 2, 360 AAs 2

PS3 AAAs 0, PS3 AAs 3

Wii AAAs 1, Wii AAs 4

3 more AAAs over the last year for the consoles PC has only come out with AAA expansions for really old games. yeah they have 2 more AAs but all their AAs are all the same RTS the console has better genres.

console wins in games and price. also better genres on consoles, controllers are better, you can play on big screen in HD, multiplayer split screen. its over.

Most expansions have as much content as a full retail game and get their own, seperate reviews from games they expand upon. There's really no reason that they shouldn't count, since many sequels can only be considered as expansive in nature when compared to their predecessors, yet nobody seems to have any problem counting them.

Expansions add more than just a few levels, again, dont discuss what you have no clue about, if they were jsut booster packs or added content, then they wouldnt get seperate reviews or set at retail prices.

Most every sequel-filled franchise is expansive. They only add content to the previous title, in the same way expansions do.

Logically, if you count (most) sequels, you should also count expansions.

World in Conflict is a year off for the 360 and won't even be close to as good, so you can count that as an exclusive for now. The two "Expansions" you speak of have more content than 99% of the games you will ever find...

And yet, it was Called World of Warcraft : The Burning Crusade. making all the old areas redundant and a huge new world and story ark with improved graphics features and enough things to do to double your game time ( which is at elast 15+ days to get that far ... on a speed leveling run ).

Point moot, Expansions count as a full game, you fail.

Thats open to conjecture; the package contained *LOADS* of new content, new races, new areas, and a higher level cap. Not only that, it was cheaper than the parent version, if it was called WoW 2 then it would have been critisized for the un-fitting title and not the content.

Clearly American, you do realize in EU and most other places, including UK aswell , have to pay ( In currency Conversion differences ) a good 40% more for the conoles and then the indivudual games?

USA =I world.

My PC that plays Crysis on Very High and slaughters every other game = 750 UK Pounds, and thats good parts adn tower aswell naturally ( If you was to buy that rig now its dropped nearly 100 )

PS3 with no games = 300 UK Pounds ( $600 ) , Wii 180 Pounds with no Games , Xbox360 250 + Wifi = 300 + Yearly fee 340 + Charger 355 ... with no games ...

£835 for all 3 consoles with no games.

PC Games = £17-£25 Brand New

PS3/360 Games = £40-£45 Brand New

Wii games = 30-35 Brand New ( With some mini game exceptions like Brain Train at 17. )

You see? USA =I world, most of europe is like that.

Your desperation shows because you felt the PC was so good that you needed to pack 3 consoles against it. You also forgot to add the cost of a 1500 dollar TV, the extra controllers, the XBL gold service, the battery packs, and the audio receiver to support all that equipmet.

Also, there arent that many exclusives to justify buying just one console anyway, you should have ALL of them. If you have enough money to buy 3 consoles and all the crap that goes with it, you can afford a good PC as well. I have a PC, 360 and PS3, I get to play ALL THE GAMES THAT I WANT.
