PC's are the future?????????????? PS3 XBOX and maybe even Wii R.I.P?

i mean think about it. with a pc when there are new games whihc your pc cant handle then you buy a new graphics card and not a whole system. ok yeah top of the line systems will make u fork out a bit but they look ffreakin aausome.. plus you then dont need to buy a seperate peice of machinerey like u do if u buy a ps3 or xbox or wii. you can kepp everything in one..

um... no way in hell. If anything the pc is dying (which i dont think it is at all). You think the millions of consoles sold are just going to be trumped by the pc?

no it just won't consoles dont need to be upgraded every year or two,and they last about five years or more. consoles have more variety too, just not shooters and rts. Pc is better in graphics, though, just the public will never take a gaming pc over say, an xbox 360 or ps3

My "thoughs"? Parts usually take about five years (Around the same time a console would last.) before they become incapable of playing a majority of games on anything but the lowest settings and buying a graphics card alone wouldn't be enough to get it up to date. Not all parts by then would be compatible with your old motherboard too, or at least I'd expect so.
