Fallout 4 can't launch into a game with little taught/info but soul's games are praised for it?

@TheEroica: I am looking forward to Fallout 4. I couldn't afford nor wanted to buy both that and Rise of the TR on the 10th. I picked up TR and it is such a great advancement over the 2013 reboot in every way. But that FO4 for a Christmas gift from the loved ones. I said either PS4 or X1 so I don't know which I am getting it for. You're on PS4 right?

Games like Fallout always feel like the right holiday game, take mad long to finish, but it works during a stretch when you have some extended free time.

Feels like a skyrim mod. I hate the dialogue system and i have to play a lawyer who got knocked up. Also dont fel like rpg.

Dialogue system is overly streamlined, I'll grant that. They took something that could've used a little tweaking and they went a little too far with it in my opinion.

It absolutely feels and plays like an RPG. So many wonderful systems.... there are people who have stayed only in Sanctuary for dozens of hours... there are people who want to gun through the game and those who spend hours upon hours world building and character crafting.... it doesnt get much more RPG than that. no?
