PEGI rates Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy, Super Hang-On for Xbox 360

And Streets of Rage 3, Golden Axe 3, Monster World 4.

A handful of cherished old Sega games have been rated by PEGI for Xbox 360, which suggests they're on their way to the European Xbox Live Arcade.

The games, via Siliconera:

• Alex Kidd in Miracle World
• Super Hang-On
• Golden Axe
• Golden Axe 3
• Streets of Rage
• Streets of Rage 3
• Wonder Boy in Monster Land
• Wonder Boy in Monster World
• Monster World 4

We've asked Sega to comment.

Golden Axe was re-released on Xbox Live Arcade in 2007. Eurogamer's Golden Axe review awarded 6/10.

Streets of Rage 2 was also re-released on Xbox Live Arcade in 2007. Eurogamer's Streets of Rage 2 review awarded 8/10.

I think Sega should make a 3D Alex Kidd game. Sega's original mascot deserves some goddamn respect. It's criminal that they haven't made a 3D Alex Kidd, or an Alex Kidd game in general since the 16 bit era.

I hated Alex Kidd.

I'd rather be playing Ecco, and that game was only slightly less horrible.

If they can just make a upscaled version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles available on PS3 (the most glaring omission in that collection) then I'm happy.

The only one that sticks out to me is Monster World 4 since it's supposed to be a legendary Genesis title that never made it outside of Japan. Alex Kidd, I've never really cared about, but it's nice to see Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 3 finally hit Xbox Live. Of course, I alread have them for the Genesis and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, but I'm probably going to cave in and get them again just for the online play. :P

How much is the collection? It may come cheaper to buy the collection instead of all those games separatedly.

you can get alex kidd in mircale world on wii and you can use a master system contyroller http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/genesis_to_wii/index.php?category=

all 3 streets of rage games are on wii also..and the adapter above lets you use the genesis controller too.

if goldenaxe and streets of rage have online...then they are worth buying again...
