I think the 8 threads a day speak for the hype.

It seems to be more hyped than Resistance 3 , Uncharted 3 , Forza 4 , Starhawk , and Twisted Metal combined.

Except you know there are Tons Of Other Games To Hype About!!! Not saying Gears of War doesnt deserve the hype, But there is Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Modren Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, ICO Collection, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Diablo III... there are soo many great big titles of games that are coming out, not to say, Deus Ex, Witcher 2, Portal 2, Duke Nukem Forever

Well idk much about the game since I don't have a 360, but I know I've seen a lot of ads/previews/threads about it. Plus, I see it as a plus when something doesn't have a lot of hype, that leads me to believe that the product has a certain level of quality that consumers come to expect and will buy the game based off of a solid reputation. This goes for basically every product, so just like Deus Ex with it's minimum exposure, I'd say this game would also have potential to be really great. At least that's my perception.

Just buy the game and be happy with it. That's what I do. Hype is like gossip. Bleh.

Played way too much of the first Gears. Was way too disappointed with Gears 2. Not hyping nor buying Gears 3.

People are alreaady hyping this game to the extreme new user.
