[QUOTE="Shafftehr"]I'd trade three friends in real life for your 3000 in WoW.angelkimneI wouldn't...
Why? My friend in WoW are like my family. They helped me rise to level 70 and helped me grow. They watch me battle against the scourge and defeat many alliance. My friends in WOW are better than my friends in Real Life all they do is talk about other things.
WOW is repetitive in the same way a job is repetitive. Silent-Hal
Wrong again you can kill, do quest, do jobs, sell, and go on raids. It is not repeitive.,

It is repetive, I don't see how someone can say otherwise. Repetition isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in WoW it just makes it feel like a chore.
OK I'll give you the obvious answer, it just depends on what type of gamer you are.
If you like gaming to escape from life, want to feel better because you put more time into it than other people then WoW is for you.
If you like gaming for the challenge, want to feel better because you have more skill than other people then you probably prefer an RTS or something like that.
And if you havn't met those people in real life then they aren't really your friends.

OK then.........................Okay, um... The TC is a bit weird. But WoW isn't really very repetitive, considering that Blizzard is constantly updating the game with holiday events, expansions, and new content patches. After the release of Burning Crusade alone, we saw three new raids pop up, and in WOTLK, the much-awaited Arthas encounter will be a content patch as well to get people excited and hyped for its arrival.
So no, I don't think WoW is really very repetitive.

What do you expect them to do?angelkimneUmm, talk about WoW, obviously. I mean, if I had just killed Zul'Aman and got the Amani War Bear, I'd be telling everyone I knew...... :o Actually, someone at work was telling me how they *just* failed to do that. I was like, thanks for the interesting story, friend. *pat shoulder*

Yes you see the beauty of WOW. WHat server do you play on? You can join my guild and then we can defeat the Lich King together. MY Fellow WOW brother join and we can kill the Aliiance rebels. FOR THE HORDE. DESTROY THE LICH KING.

I'm sure Jandurin is preparing to help you as we speak.
To bad every other game isn't literally made to be repetitive like WoW is made to be, Other games try not to be, Wow just cant help being i mean what other types of quests can you really do? besides go here and kill this, collect this, talk to this, come back kill this, talk to his, collect this.WilliamRLBaker
Don't use this logic.
Gears of War - Shoot Shoot shoot
Halo 3 - Shoot Shoot Shoot
Getting the picture? WoW actually sounds less reptitive compared to those
Grinding is completely opitonal and is targeted to the hardcore audience.
I would hardly call leveling up in WoW as a grind.
And yet it still pales in comparison to WFRPG.
Pen and Paper RPGs will always be better than any MMO.
You can't compare your friends on WoW to your family, because frankly, I don't they care about you as much as you care about them (judging from your post). I'm sorry, but they don't see you in the same light that you might think they do.
But if you like Wow, then awesome. Just don't get too caught up in it.

They are more loving then my family. My family was not able to save me from Dar'Kan while my WOW family helped kill them and helped me achive the two handeed sword of Sin'Doria. My family never invited me to a guild and conjured so many things or buffed me. I would sacrifice my family to play WoW.
Well, I think a lot of you have not played WoW to really be commenting on it much. I actually started writing out a long post about a large persistent world with thousands of players and listing all the different things there are to do in game. The reality is, no one is going to take my word for it and change their mind about WoW. I guess I'll try to give one example.
A single raid encounter in WoW can be more varied and well designed than the entire SP of your favorite FPS. The better raids require 25 people communicating and functioning as a team in regards to positioning, decursing, controling additional enemies that appear during encounters, target swapping, healing priorities, effective coold down use and on and on. It's a huge amount of coordination and the fights are actually designed for it.
Can WoW get boring? Absolutely, but there are few games you could play for as long with out getting bored.

He's already said he's trolling in an attempt to entice people into breaking the ToU, so he can report them.
So it's basically one big trap, and we should all stay away.
He's likely reporting every post in this thread.
