A lot of stupid people all around the gaming community on the Internet and even some IRL say how BF3 will be superior to CoD, and also be "the beginning of the end of CoD". :lol: I say, how is that even possible when BF3 will debut with sales between 1 - 2 million, and LTD sales will be presumably around 5 - 7 million. Now, 5 - 7 million is the amount of units that MW3 will sell in one single day. It will easily top at least 9 million in the NPD sales report of November (only U.S.) and sell over 20 million before January 1, 2012. And then, next year---taking into account that Black Ops was a fantastic game with many innovative features introduced to the CoD formula---also that it made $1 billion---Treyarch will spend that money well and produce the best CoD ever in 2012, easily selling close to 30 million. Imagine if Treyarch could make Black Ops with what they got from CoD5, what will Black Ops 2 be like? Sorry, Battlefield 3, even the die-hard fanboys will stop playing after 1 month because it simply is so boring. Crysis had pretty graphics, but did it kill CoD4 or Halo 3? Lmao. Graphics are not everything, and Battlefield will prove that when it's outsold and outplayed by Modern Warfare 3.
