The only thing PS3 has going for appeal with these price cuts is its high definition player, and you're right Microsoft realizes that's the only gab Sony has over them and Toshiba are going to now included HD-DVD support in the Xbox 360. So after that happens, there wont be anything left the PS3 has to claim over 360.c_smithii

If that ever comes out, it wouldn't be til 2009, and it still would not be used for games.

I was referring to the use of the high definition format for video playback, not game software. There are a lot videophiles out there that want Microsoft to include the HD-DVD player and not sell it seperately.

yea the 360 is already getting outsold in the uk by the ps3 as of NOW because of the pricedrop. with the holiday season being upon us im going to bet sales will only increase.
