Why does it seem that once a game is released people here forget it and focus on whats coming out next? Brawl has been out for a month and people only talk about the small amount of games left for 08, similar things go for the 360, and of course the PS3 seems to benefit from this

In the world of console war fanboyism, games don't even matter to the user; they are only used as cannon balls that are shot at the enemy console. They think nothing of it a month after it's release and completely forget it even exists.
That's why I always laugh at the "2008 is the year of Sony" threads.
