Perfect Dark Source looks and plays better than PD0!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (56K!!!!!!!) !

The only problem is that it is in beta and only has 4 maps, and five different weapons :cry:!! But all the weapons feel great, and are even more enjoyable if you are familiar with the original Perfect Dark!!!! I have PD0, I have played it alot and I really like its multiplayer aspect. But so far PDS is beating it in most all aspects. Now look at these beautiful screens I took!!!! (hopefully my screens dont resize or compress after like 15 seconds like they kept doing in another thread I was posting in :cry:)

uh....this is the source engine....

you could probably make do with 512MB if neccesary...though 1 gig would be recomended.

I got a 22' widescreen monitor 1680x 1050 for $200. I think its a pretty good deal.

Though I got a broken pixel, and have to go exchange it.

Is the 8800GTX even able to use all the 768 MB available (or 640 MB in the case of the GTS)? (at least it should if you look at the price tag)

I'd really like to play PD: source as well, but I'm waiting for my HL2 holiday collection edition for months now :evil:. I'd probably have to cancel the order and wait for the orange box.:(

Looking better than PDZ is notan achievement.

This game does look pretty nice, but not any better than Half Life 2, which came out almost 3 years ago.

I want Joanna to have a change in design... It's like they are addicted into turning every franchise into a more "mature" direction... And what did they did with her? They turned her into an been there done that, extremely clichéd anime design, with what it probably came to them as a more sexy outlook. Quite frankly, imo, it just failed terribly.

You're not alone though.. I think they turned Joanna into a wimp. In the N64 game, she was like a female James Bond. In PD0, she's just some wimpy barbie doll girl with a gun. They ruined her personality! ;~; And more importantly, they took away the British accent! DO ANYTHING BUT TAKE AWAY HER BRITISH ACCENT! ;~~;
