Perfect Dark Zero 2, on Xbox 360...

According to OXM, there is a new PDZ2, in development. Look it up. in the magazine...

What do you guys think? Will you buy it?

To quote GS on the original.:

"This awesome, high-tech first-person shooter champions the Xbox 360 with its excellent assortment of single- and multiplayer game types, as well as its incredible good looks and dynamic, intense action."

I asume Gamespot has never played the original PD, because PDZ fails miserably in comparison, in both aspects. Obviously the graphics are going to be better on the 360, than on the N64, but honestly, how does a crappy game like PDZ score 9.0 out of 10?

9/10 means something special. Something "rare", something just short of awesome. 9/10 means the game is nearly PERFECT, which PERFECT Dark is not. It's far from perfect. As a lemming, and a long time N64 PD fan (not to mention GoldenEye), I think PDZ was one of the lamest sequels ever made. I can't think of a singleshooter, or genre, where a sequel has sucked so bad compared to the original.

I'm not buying that crap, not with Gears and Halo 3 out.

HAZE looks better anyways, and even if GS gives PDZ 2 a 9.5, I know it will suck like PDZ did.

I know, but i was implying that i dont care about any other games from them (Unless They give Conker's Bad Fur Day a much needed sequel), untill i see some new information, videos, etc. on the new Banjo.

I would rather play resistance MP and SP over PDZ any day of the week. PDZ sucked. There was no SP or MP. If i gave it a review it would have gotten a rating less than 6.

I was too busy being "blown" away by COD2, PGR3, and this old game on my PC called Half-Life 2.

yes they were good looking games but so was pdz.

PDZ was very good and I believe it deserved its score, but there is no way that they're making a Perfect Dark Zero 2. They already totally screwed up the continuity with PDZ and I don't believe Rare would screw it up even more (though I could be wrong). Also, this thread was already created and locked, and you just added a rumor to it. got_systems

This topic is regarding PDZ 2, not PDZ, it's just that I put my opinion about PDZ here. Is that OK? I don't seem to be violationg any rules. Since when is it NOT OK, to post rumors? I didn't create it, if that is what you're saying. It's in the OXM.

PDZ was one of the, if not THE worst game I have ever played. The AI lacked. The multiplayer lacked. The graphics were cheesy. The animations were awkward. The voice acting was wretched (wasn't Joanna supposed to be BRITISH???). The guns sucked. The options were lacking. Rather than sticking to its own guns, it attempted to knock off Halo's success. The sound was miserable. Hell, in the review, GS said how the gun sounds were great. They REUSED gun sound from the original. That reviewer should be fired immedietly. organic_machine

But no, he wasn't a bad reviewer. In fact, he was one of the best. Everyone gets sloppy at one point or another, and this is one of his sloppiest reviews. 

IMO PDZ was an AMAZING game,definately one of the more funner games.:)The graphics are still some of the best of the best...of any game,and the only and gameplay is superb.I guess its a love it or hate it game.

I agree with him, PDZ looks gorgeous. You probably never played it on an HDTV. If yes, you know nothing about graphics.
