You can hardly blame the PS3 fanboys for that. I mean, just read this review you sort of linked to:

"I am writing this review mainly because of the reviews the PS3 version has been getting from people who haven't even played the Sony version of the game. From someone who has both systems, I am getting it on the PS3 because of the Joker gameplay. without the Joker gameplay, both games are almost exact carbon copies. I loled....you clearly dont know the PS3 version does get exclusive DLC of playable joker im sure and saying its not out on PS3 when it is ahahahahaha.I was just playing the demo on my PS3.

I mean you have to make a deliberate effort to go into a user review section and give it azero. Imagine if people did this with all products, you could never get an honest idea of how good any product is. "Hmm I dont like Honda because I own a Nissan, so Im gonna go on Edmunds.com and rate all the Honda cars low, so it screws up their ratings." User reviews are quite crucial in other industries, and unfortunately, are completely unreliable due to the feverish fanboys that exist here.

this is nothing new.

Fanboys do go to quite some lengths.

I remember when the first Xbox originally launched- you wouldn't believe the amount of tyrade it recieved.

Halo was given quite a few 0-1 scores with a long the lines of "Teh games suxxor, suxxor, suxxor" as a critical review.

Some fanboy actually went so far as to create a fake article on Gamespot saying that the Xbox has discontinued and MS has pulled out of the Games industry that same year.

Do not ever underestimate fanboyism fervour and stupidity.

The Xbox hate was much worse when Xbox 1 launched. It's not too much different now though, and MS ruined a chance at changing their image with the RRoD.

Both sides are to blame for this. Plus, this is nothing new. This happens all the time at Metacritic. I remember when Sony fanboys flooded Gears of War 2 with 1.0 before the game was even released. As far as I recall, I have only one user review. I gave Halo 3 a 10 because some reviewer had given it a zero and I wanted to "neutralize" his impact.

I am willing to bet other fans do it too (but it does seem to be that hate is stronger in cows) though.

I cant believe people are still surprised by this i just look for a review that looks genuine. Except for madden I hate madden with a passion but i would never review it because i stopped playing it after 05 and i know for a fact i would give it a 1.0 because its the exact same game every year that they could just make a roster upgrade for instead of gouging you for $60.

Go look at any console exclusive game from metacritic and you'll find someone lying his butt of to talk about why a great game like MGS4 or Halo 3 is so terrible and giving it a 0. Seriously, some people just don't have enough of a life, but its not like user reviews mean anything.
