I dont care what platform it gets announced for, a new Persona game is WIN. If its announced for the PS3, id be very happy.
that would be absolutely **** incredible
persona 4 was one of the greatest and most enjoyable rpg's i have ever played(just finished it a couple days ago), still yet to play persona 3

Be prepared for one of the best gaming experience you will ever have.
EDIT: Oh you've played P4 already. I havent played it yet (still sitting here sealed, just havent found the time to play it) but ive heard alot of people say its best to play P3 first then P4.
Thats because P4 made ALOT of major gameplay improvements which turned off people who played P3 after, finding it archaic. If you can get past that then enjoy :)
that would be absolutely **** incredibleim guessing probably AAA title if it comes

+1. "Our source" usually translates to: "we don't really have any information whatsoever, but we made up a bunch of crap and pretended to have a source in a desperate attempt to seem credible"

I dunno, I found Persona 3 FES a lot better. Can't really get into P4 as much as I did with P3, maybe that's cause I'm still in the beginning. On topic, this would be total win.

Same here. I did enjoy P3FES more, but you can't deny that P4 made so many improvements gameplay-wise that's it gonna be hard for people to return to P3 after it. But not me though :P, I still yet haven't finished the Answer chapter of P3FES, and I'm playing a little bit of it every once and while. I guess what made me prefer P3FES more was the story and the theme of the game. It was darker and more centered around the characters than P4. And the ending made more sense than P4. xD Although I still haven't seen the "true ending" for persona4 that require you to play through a second time, maybe that ending will make more sense. :)[QUOTE="kidcool189"]

The stories aren't really related (you really only get a few references) but yeah after playing P4, the gameplay of P3 just don't quite match up/

It fit the theme quite well.If they do make one i hope it's not Jpoppy like the last 2.

It's terrible. What's worse is the intolerable battle theme they've chosen for the psp port of the original. I'm about ready to give up on Persona 3, there's really just nothing redeeming about the game so far. Persona 2, on the other hand, seems to be a gem from what I started playing recently.

It is one of the few games that I ninjaed the sountrack from before trading it in to gamestop.
I love the Persona series but I hope not. P4 just came out last December Atlus needs to announce SMT: 4.

When Persona 5 does hit on whatever system it'll have that same J-Pop/J-Rock music it seems. Persona PSP has had it's soundtrack altered to a more modern J-Pop/J-Rock feel to be somewhat like Persona 3 & 4. Check It Out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbSAfzt2M6wbleh thanks for wasting my time another game that sucks ass in my opinion

I'm aware of the PSP Persona. The battle music is intolerable. And it doesn't fix the game's biggest problem - the dungeons. In fact it's going to make them worse. So I'm going to pass, despite the city map improvement.
I just started playing around with the series. I'm nearly finished with the original on PS1 (Japanse ver) - which I originally hated but now I'm starting to appreciate, the 2nd "tsumi" or "innocent sin" game - which I'm absolutely loving, and the 3rd title which I'm not such a fan of. What I like about the original Persona's doesn't really shine through in P3 and I think that the music is bad. It could be good, but it's not.
