PGR4 Shots (in-game/photo mode) *56K don't even try*

I def. find this game to rival GT5, but we'll see when GT5 is released, still has some time. Obviously Photo mode cleans things up a touch with AA. But that is all, these are very real in-game shots. Some from gameplay angle, some from cinematic angles

GT5 still has a slight edge in model graphics, but the overall package of PGR4 is nuts. The rain effects are real by the way, they are pre proccessed. It's real time calcuation by Xenon...

In game settings are 720p 2xAA/4xAF 30fps

Yes, that is a 3d shot, if you have 3dglasses, put em on for a sweet 3d effect.

it's a new weather system, a lot of people are trying it out and like it...so a lot of shots are in some sort of weather scenerio (Rain, snow, etc)

i hope they are not pushing the resolution at the cost of lets say.. textures, environment, etc...

So far, no big game was in 1080P native resolution at 60fps

those pics look fantastic...but I read somewhere the motorcycles seem to have an unfair advantage. call me when the patch is out.Dreams-Visions

i dont find that the motorcycles have an advantage, i think they put you at a disadvantage, they may be because i suck though.

same reason why cows only posted rainy day shots of F1. It looks incredible and the storm effects in PGR4 set a new bar for the industry in general.

Nice, I know in PGR 3 AND 4 the reflections are spot on, I am always checking behind me through the mirror.

its a 2D back drop, the chairs are shoddy the best bit is the ground texture and the car.

The house in the background is a flat image plane.

you can tell what bits are flat images as they have no depth to them.....

GS latest GT5 preview says they've fixed all those reflection problems. To make matters worse you confuse GT5 for CGI :lol:

Just so you know.. that was a early build of the engine. Go to 1:07 in this video. Its been fixed for some time now.

That "shotty" background that was "cgi" (where the hell did you get cgi from??) it is actually 3d rendered...watch their latest videos... camera moves around....

ALSO

The "2d" audience, trees and w/e are not 2d...once again..watch the videos..
