I get kinda tired having to educate the ignorant but I'll do this thread a favor.
The game is free in the sense that you can download and get one character to play at no charge. Full single and multiplayer options are available. From there you can choose to purchase certain characters, the ones you are interested in mastering.
Or you can bypass all that and buy the game full outright with everything unlocked at the normal price for the game. I assume 59.99.

Dude your joking right? State of Decay is a cool game for the price and is alot of fun but it has alot of issues. its not on the same level as Dayz.... maybe Warz?
One character for free, the rest you all have to pay for so...Â

A mod which is more unique then most games released on any system these days. Otherwise State of Decay (which is due on the PC- dat MS publishing detail timed release) isn't a multiplayer game - Day-Z is entirely multiplayer. What's your point?

No free to play game is really free play. I just hope it has a training mode unlike Tekken R Planetside 2, Tribes Ascend, Blacklight, Dota 2 and so on. There's plenty of truly free to play games, the difference being how micro transactions are integrated. Dota 2 is the gold standard.
