pii on the wii.

doing my shopping over the last week has really been a bummer. seeing all of the crap that has been put on the Wii is embarressing. my friends hammered me on all those great games like pool party and desktop pacing. i went to game rankings and they have 4 games out of 180 that rank 9 and above and less then 10 i think that rank 8 or above. check it......ive done nothing but praise the Wii over the last few months but no more. it is a crap system with a few great games and a bunch of crap crap crap. i love my nintendo games and i still think they are the best game co. im sure the Wii will have the best must have games, but nintendo should be ashamed of themselves for not showing they care for their own system and supporters. and the DS is going through the same thing.

pii...? 'sighs' Well anyway, despite the fact that the Wii has about a bajillion crappy games, it still some that really shine. Zack and Wiki, Battalion Wars, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy and those are just off the top of my head. There are entertaining games on the Wii right now, not to mention that Brawl is coming.The fact of the matter is that the Wii is pretty much a casualized counsel and the games reflect that, butthat doesn't mean that there aren't still good games on it for the real gamers.

Yet Nintendo has the highest rated game of this generation and the second highested rated game of all time. In addition, how can you say that Microsoft and especially Sony take pride in their image? The PS1 and the PS2 were major dumping grounds and Microsoft cared so much about their image that they released and sold about 11.6 million defective Xbox 360 consoles just to get a headstart.

It's not Nintendo's fault that third party developers aren't (appearing) to take more interest in Nintendo.
And if you used any logic before you decided to post something like this, you'd know that sales determine third party support. And people can't just shell out a game in 6 months.

A lot of 3rd party developers likely didn't want to invest in the Wii at first, not knowing how it would actually do.
Seeing it STILL selling out a year later, will make them be like "o_o Deng. This thing is pretty cool."

Thats not even accurate, but at the same time atleast sony release other games other than God of War, Ratchet & Clank & Twisted Metal. Do you see Ratchet & Kratos at the olympics? Or how about Kratos party 8?

EGM, 1UP, and most of system wars agree,,,,,,nintendo is a shovelware system. it has some awesome games. but nintendo is at fault for all the crap. my patients have gotten me plenty of quality on the PS3 360 (before it died), the dreamcast, the saturn, and the 3d0, ect. ive never seen anything like the DS and Wii. are getting. its just sad. im not knocking the Wii. im knocking nintendo and their policy on quality.
