Pirates of the Caribbean 360 looks almost as good as Gears of War (seriously)

Disney Interactive is a crappy developer, but look at what they still did on the Xbox 360. Thanks to helpful toolsets and generous hardware power, even lower-tier developers can produce excellent results with minimal effort. And no, the Xbox 360 is not that hard to develop for, Square Enix! My point? 3rd Party developers are not going to abandon 360/PS3 for the Wii. There is still a lot of promise for what sheep are calling two failing systems.

A couple more videos below. Note, I'm not saying it's better than Gears of War or exactly the same either. But for a usually crappy genre of video games (movie licenses), this is almost too good and more than we expected.

The level of detail is tiny compared to that of Gears... and the fluidity of the animations... well, they are not very fluid. The game has its quality, but next time, don't compare it to one of the best looking titles on the 360... please.foxhound_fox

Well maybe because my expectations were low, I really did not expect it to look that good. Plus I played the demo and those videos don't include all of the great-looking parts (I really wonder if it's using the same UE 3.0 engine as GoW)

I should also add I've seen the Wii videosso it goes without saying anything other than the Wii version will strike me as impressive. :P Hey I'm sorry but that's what happened here.

but it does look great.. i was amazed at the graphics and also amazed at the crappiest gameplay alive lol.

Not from what I saw on the crapfest demo.

The reason it scored so low in graphics is that the animation sucks, and if I remember from the demo the framerate was pretty bad too.

Armored Cell, I am not making fun of PS3. The PS3 looks identical to the Xbox 360, both are very powerful and capable of helping third-parties make great looking games. I only mentioned Xbox 360 because I happen to look at the videos first and I own it, but I am not making a slight at PS3 which I want to own as well.

But I think it's obvious which system I am kind of mocking here. But only because today Square Enix called Xbox 360/PS3 "mismanaged, overengieered consoles"

Do what you do dude, I am not offended by anything. Pirates of teh Carrebean does look good on both systems and yes it is ery impressive for a any game and a movie game at that.
