i mean you may aswell play offline!

that isthe diff from psn and live imo you get to play online and it feels like online with teams to make tactics and so on the ps3 was a joke compared to live i can not believe people like it get mics people and use them,it is much better trust me.

please do not say yeah 12 year old kids is talking becuase that happens once every 10 games!

ps3 has no excuse for not making online good but it fails imo with no talking it is not online it is like playing offline with bots but they talk more!

ive heard people talk, but even if they didn't i usually am on vent with my friends anyway so it doesn't make a difference to me.

this what i think anyway sony focus is on movie player and offline game if they have online great but they not bothered imo.

xbox360 is all about online and connecting people.

You know when I first got live, I had the mic and talked with people. Then I understood that I wished most people did not have a mic. Now I no longer use it the mic on live have not done so in a month.HarlockJC

You do know you can mute people right? It isn't as fast as Halo's muting, but I know there is atleast one annoying kid in 1/10 matches in CoD4, so instead of not helping teamates by giving them a heads up on where people are, I mute the kid because I wont let one person ruin fun for me

I mute like crazy. Just saying that even with you have the mic most of the time no one uses it for the game. Once and awhile but very little.

He's definately a fakeboy, you can talk in most games such as warhawk and others so don't use this as another excuse, also i don't mind people talking sometimes but i would hate it if it was constant talkingso i like ps3 online, i agree live would be slightly better at the minPaddy345

As a gamer, if I wanted to talk to people I would go outside. I play games to play games. I HAVE played games with voice support and found it a total and complete waste of time and filled with annoying idiots and 10 year old freaking out everytime they die.

I know, I know, your defense will be that I should only play with friends or people I know. Well, I talk to them all the time anyway. And yes, if I were to play a game ONLY with friends, I would use the mic...but we all have lives and jobs and different schedules. So the rare time I play online, I do what the vast majority of gamers (I assume). I just enter a game. And the vast majority of times I would rather stick a knife in my ears than an earpiece. because the way people act online with a mic is enough to make Darwin weep.

and ofc i can say it from my experience i have had the ps3 since the day it came out only a couple of games you hear people talking and if you tell your team people getting in the base it is like telling your wall in your house becuase you get no response. (not good)

xbox live made voice chat standard.

the only people i want to talk to are my friends online.

psn is better than xbox live, just accept it.
