I still haven't picked it up. I'm not much into early access stuff.
Same here,I actively avoid early acess stuff. This looks pretty interesting though.
It definitely looks fun. My bro said he'd pick it up if I did, but i'm on the fence. It's cheap as chips though.
@cainetao11: If you really can't wait, just get it on PC :P
Maybe you misread what I posted. I'll repost: Cant wait to play this on my X1X with my Veteran buddies.
Those VETERAN BUDDIES don't play on PC. Kind of pointless for me to get it on PC if I cant wait to play WITH THEM.
@cainetao11: See that just sounds like a personnel problem.
See personally, I don't have any personnel. I have friends and I value them and I love them and love to play games with them. And that takes place on Xbox as it did all through our service in the US military.
Personally i have a blast with the game.
Its not the best ever in technical level or runs like butter but game gives you an experience you wont find elsewhere or if you do ( see H1Z1 ) is nowhere near. Specially when you play with friends game is so funny and great at the same time.
At start might be a bit frustrating till you get what is going on, it has plenty of things control scheme wise to learn and all that while you are fighting for you life in a big environment. I wish game had a practice mode to learn all those weapon behavors/spays and why not all character controls before you jump in in action.
Other than that, when you get what is going on and how to play this game in a deeper sense.. its really addictive like few, if any, games of this genre out there.
Never play it. Don't have any reasons not to.
That almost sound like you have noone to play it with :)
I just don't find it interesting to me personally. Plus I got other games I still need to get through my backlog of games and since Uncharted: Lost Legacy is coming soon, (which I get it for free with UC4 season pass) I just didn't pay attention to PlayerUnknown's Battleground hype.

Oh wait you get Lost Legacy with the season pass , didn't know that i thought i had to go out and buy it.
But if you have a good group of friends give it a chance, you may enjoy it.
I still remember when COD was selling 6 or 7 millions in a month despite being a differently painted replica of last year iteration. Sales =/= good
the difference is that this is a new IP coming from a unknown developer that has succeeded on primarily word of mouth and streamers with no real marketing campaign
I've already put 140 hours into the game somehow
Funny how an incomplete game is able to sell millions.
Battle Royale is fun and PUBG is far more polished than H1Z1

pc gaming at its finest. Thanks to them this model is now leaking onto consoles, aka no man's sky.
@Jacanuk: If you have UC4 season pass, you'll get it for free, and I got the season pass on sale back then. I'll give PlayerUnknown's Battleground a go next year when there's not that many games to be playing in January-February 2018.
So what you're telling me is, it's free if I pay for it? Gotcha!
It looks interesting, especially since I'm tired of playing team-based shooters (OW, Gigantic, Paladins) where no one plays as a team or knows how to play for that matter. At least in PUBG I can fend for myself. But the lack of polish and slow patching makes me nervous, most of the bugs and optimization problems have been around for months on end. Not to mention the recent stuff of people being banned because they "harassed" streamers simply by being near them.

The difference being that No Man's Sky was sold as a final product, this game is upfront in letting you know it's a work in progress
I don't get the draw... but then I don't fidget spin or wear Bieber pants. I guess the new fad in gaming is the opposite end of the spectrum from a Nintendo quality of polish. I really must be too old for current gaming trends. I don't get you's kids these days. Tight pants, ear gapers, the next big EA Sports game will be "Millennial Jimmy, Pro Dabber" where you dab off in dab comps against other courageous gender swapped SJW's all over white suburbia- don't forget to pre-order YOLO Edition that comes with serial numbered ear gapers with built in Bluetooth fidget spinners that help you dab harder using inertia!!
That's just a 37 year old's way of saying "this game is garbage, and you're all dumb for liking it". Respectfully of course.
And yet only 8-9% play it daily at the same time..... where did the others go? Did they play it once, find it lame and never go back to it?
Watching Xbox Mixer show and the Devs said they partnered with MS to publish the game to release on Xbox. I need to rewind it and double check. But if MS publishing it, doesn't that mean it'll be exclusive to the Xbox console side of things. That's huge.

They also said they have passed 8 million sold.
@gago-gago:
Same thing as Rise Of The Tomb Raider which is published by Microsoft on Xbone. PUBG will come later on PS4 published by some another publisher
Microsoft is helping bring the game to console. I don't know much it would cost Sony to get this game for PS4? There was no mention if this was a 6 month or 1 year deal?

Unlikely.
If they're like me, then they're likely waiting for it to be completed before playing it regularly so that they're not bored with it once the final product is released. I've done the same with Star Citizen for the same reasons, but that's a nice cow attempt at diminishing its accomplishment.
I wonder how many millions of cows continued playing UC4 after beating it the first time?
While such big sales numbers might seem like a surprise at first, especially for a game that most of SW had never heard of before, the same could be said for other Korean online games that most of SW had never heard of before. The highest-grossing shooter of all time is CrossFire, which has been minting over a billion dollars a year for almost a decade. Yet most SWers have never heard of CrossFire before.
I still don't get it
After you realize that playing squad strategically with your friends in discord is too hard because you suck at FPS and are too anti-social to communicate with them.
You can do one of three things:
Naturally these things make it one of the most popular games on steam.
As for the console versions..
