The reason why it saw the sales it did initially was because m$ LIED about only the launch copies would have the Halo3 beta invite, in which all of the copies contaied the beta invite lol!!!!!Crackdown 1 didn't own anything and to say that Crackdown 2 will own "the ps3 exclusive line-up combined" is a HUGE dream

Oh, you mean a beta to a game thats sold almost 10 million units worldwide, has maintained an average of 93% on gamerankings (9.5 here at GS) and currently has approximately 1 million people log in to it every day to play? not bad. but 360 did get more than just crackdown 2. who cares if the info was leaked it wasnt official. we officially get crackdown 2 - its far better than any fanboy wants to say. crackdown was really enjoyable shadow complex halo reach forza 3 non exclusive but not on the ps3 splinter cell conviction left 4 dead 2 360 has plenty of good games. fanboys are to hypocritical on system wars now days doing damage control on what is a good game. some say score and then will say sales. its bad. both did a great job at e3.

What do you need explained? The first chart shows what the difference was from the PS3's release until november 2007, the second shows the difference from the PS3's release until now, do the math, its not rocket science... (BTW, both MS and SONY use sold to RETAILER numbers, not actually sold to consumers)

Im pretty sure I read something awhile back saying the ps3 was the best blu ray player on the market when it launched and up until recently. Some people who have no desire to play games bought it solely for the blu ray. So I doubt they cared whether it was a playstation brand or something else. They just wanted the best blu ray player at the time. So why bash the sales. 23 million is good no matter how you try to spin it.

That seemed like less of a knock and more of a logical explanation for the Wii's massive sales lead.
