Infact I might just have to buy an Xbox 360 again, just so I can compare properly and remember what qualities the 360 has ahead of the Playstation 3 but right now I can't actually name one! I'm thinking, the only exclusive on the 360 I'd buy is probably Gears Of War 2 but I must admit that the online play of COD4 is better on the Xbox 360, everything thing else and the PS3 seems to be leagues ahead. You don't need to play online to enjoy the PS3

yea now its a great deal but back when it mattered in terms of the primary console for devs, the 360 was a better deal and its probly too late for the ps3 to make a comeback

Mine came with a Free HDMI, everything you listed was pretty much useless and cheap. I listed stuff that already comes or is built in with the console. Built in wireless, bluetooth, blueray... that's enough to blow the poor self destructive 360 away, also the PS3 has web browser, vidzone.. seriously the 360 is rubbish! I use to have one, I'd know!

Its a good value for $300, with all of that stuff. Myself personally I bought mine for playing games, and that is where the 360 is a better value for me. there are still more games for the 360, multiplats still usually look and play beter on the 360, Xbox live gives the feeling of teamwork and communication (headsets anyone????). I don't use the wi-fi, I don't use the blu-ray and blu-ray sucks for games (can we say mandatory installs?)

If they stuck component cables in there I would probably buy one, but I'm assuming they're like 40$ seperate.

sorry i actually bought the ps3 when it first came out you see i love my consoles that much and the simple truth was 360 came with 120 gig REMOVABLE HARDDRIVE, free HDMI and head set! and the ps3 came without removable harddrive no headset and no HDMI also my pad still doesn't have rumble as im not buying a new one when my old one works perfectly. finally you little gaming noob everything i listed was important unlike your ps3 has no disk tray! aslo im a brit and bbc iplayer sucks so does vidzone, they dont even touch netflix. 70% of what you said in your first post was cheap. i ask you how in anyway does that hinder 360. the only thing in my opinion the ps3 has over 360 is blueray. 360 on the other hand has better online which i gladly pay for, better arcade and most multi plats look better on 360.

I love my PS3 but I think one of it's biggest weaknesses is no mic. People on PSN seem so anonymous without a mic. Other than that yeah, PS3 is a great value. You really can't go wrong buying a PS3 nowadays.

He should have used a term like hot swapping. You dont need a screwdriver to move around the harddrives. But you have to pay way too much to buy a larger one.

While the PS3 is definitely a good deal for the $299.99 price tag, it doesn't have Halo or an online interface as good as LIVE, so I think I'll just pass.:P

I know a place by me that sells a 40gb ps3 for 170. Brooklyn NYC if anyone is interested. It's used, but guaranteed to work. It's an official game store.

So the PS3 at 300 dollars with no real features that benefit gaming is an excellent value? I think XBOX at $250 right now is a far better gaming value. Blu-Ray will be irrelevant in 5 years once DD goes full on. I can appreciate the people enjoying their PS3's but why so much aggresive justification for it from the Cows?

I think blu ray will be relevant for a long time.

I can get a 250Gb 360 with MW2 and 2 controllers for £250. Sorry TC but you fail.
