Also...this is how MS, Sony and Ninty all present their "sales". They're doing this on equal terms.

both i guess, shipped is the only numbers MS and Sony gives us. There isnt really an accurate number anywhere for WW sales. You can get a good ballpark number i suppose

yup. the ps3 was on a streak where it was consistently outselling the 360 (MS claimed they were having a shortage). but i believe that 2 out of the last 3 months the 360 outsold the ps3 in NA, and in japan last month

I know it's not the most reliable site but Wikipedia states the 360 has sold 22 million since Sept 30th, I highly doubt they sold 2 million more consoles in a month and a half.

may very well happen, but either way i find it highley unlikey that the ps3 will outsell the 360 unless something drastic happens (next xbox comes out early, ps3 has a 12 year life cycle, etc...)
