I agree. I didn't think Motorstorm was that jaw dropping until I played the demo witht he screen right in front of me so i could see for myself.

All those games look great! I was most impressed with the GT pics. But the problem is, GT is too slow for my taste. Thats why I'm getting Motorstorm :D

Motorstorm doesnt look bad, GT looks awesome, F1 is total bs I played it on a 42inch hdtv and that rain effect on the screen is horrible...its streams of pixles running down the screen...

that forza2 pics in his post sux theres a lot of pics that looks a way better than these pics just take a look at forza 2 page you will see for your self and the thing that i hate about gt is theres no visual customization and forza still have the Lamborghini's and Ferrari's i dunno why gt dont add that cars .

Ditto. Though I'm a bit upset about the reflection on the third F1 pic. Elementguy13, if those are screens for Forza 2 then GT would trounce it.

How many times are you actually going to lay down $60 to hold down the x button, while sliding the analog stick left and right depending on on-screen prompts? In other words, how many racing games do you really need?

nice. I heard God Hand is pretty hardcore :P I just finished FFXII and more recently God of War on Spartan. I'll probably work on Jade Empire next.

F1 really loooks cool. only thing bad for f1 is the grass, but then again if you are going 200+mph who will be looking at grass lol.

Not a serious sim player, I'm guessing? There's a lot more to it than what you're describing. For proof, go find a large parking lot, set up some cones, push the gas all the way down, and try navigating them without knocking any over. True racing sims are about precise, accurate driving technique, and adjusting your strategy as a race goes on. Many of them are also about tuning - I have little interest in that part of the game, but I recognize that a lot of people do. Anyway, Forza is shaping up to look just as good as Gran Turismo, and rumor has it that Gran Turismo is finally going to simulate the consequences of reckless driving, so either way, you're in for a good time. The rain effect on F1 is probably doable on the 360... I'd guess it's just a pixel shader for the distortion, possibly a vertex shader as well to compute the path of the droplets.
