PlayStation 4 Star Wars Limited Edition Console...

This thing looks hideous, what were they thinking... They should have made the Darth Vader graphic on the console realistic, not this artistic outline, it looks cheap, like a vinyl window sticker or something from a flash video... Then the light, they put red on the controller but kept the light on the console blue? It should have been red to reflect Vader's light saber...

The only redeeming quality of the whole thing are the "Star Wars" etchings, if that's even what they are...

As a huge Star Wars fan this is disappointing...

Console looks great, controller is bad.

It comes with four old Star Wars games remastered on PS4 btw, along with Battlefront.

The controller is the least bad part, it actually reflects Vader, the console itself is the problem.

I've been very underwhelmed by the PlayStation 4 limited edition consoles. They've all been so... bleh. This one isnt any different.

They literally just changed the faceplates on the system, hell it's probably just a sticker.... Underwhelming is an understatement I'd say, this is just lazy.

Don't care for Star Wars , but SW Bounty Hunter is good news for me.

For some reason Darth reminds me of old school AGS point 'n click adventures, which automatically makes me happy.

I've liked most of the designs of the PS4 limited edition consoles, but this is a swing and a miss I think. Although maybe it looks better in person...

But I'm sure Star Wars fans will snap them up super quick anyway.

The PS4 itself looks alright, but the controller is bad. Already have a PS4 but no interested in this limited version even if I didn't

Actually think it looks pretty great, though the Xbox 360 Star Wars edition is still the best Star Wars themed console for my money.

Is this another preemptive damage control thread for when Xbone gets its ass stomped this holiday 'cos it sure looks like one. This bundle as well as the inevitable Black Ops 3 bundle are going to sell like hotcakes regardless of how they look.

Console doesnt look awful, but im guessing you would never see the decorated area of the console in most living room setups, that controller is disgusting. Id prefer a normal controller to that monstrosity.

Though i'm not sure i would really consider them classics

I've always had the mind that anything from starwars is usually overly gaudy, was never a fan of the r2d2 360 either.

Unfortunately, bar Super Star Wars, that games list is a bit of a letdown. Bounty Hunter (which got not so great reception)? Racer Revenge (fine game, but it has less content than the N64 version of Episode I: Racer... how the hell does that work)? Jedi Starfighter (Did Disney forget about Rogue Squadron, which fans consider superior to Starfighter by just the first game and Rogue Leader alone?)

Would've been cool to see them use play of that blue strip light as a lightsaber at least.

Console itself looks fine, although they should have made the light red for these. Not sure what's going on with that controller though.

I never can understand why someone that has no interest in the console is so quick to post a thread to bad mouth the console lol. I mean it looks alright but I was never a fan of custom consoles. But if you don't like the Playstation then why even make a thread about it?
