if you want to sell a small number of games. Has a multiplatform game released on both the PS3 & the 360 ever sold better on the PS3?

I can't say it for sure, but I bet Dynasty Warriors 6 sold more on PS3.

Unless the game is a major release for the NA market ..... the games seem to do just about as well overall. If your title appeals to the Japanese market or Euroland the most ..... the ps3 isn't a bad way to go if you have to make that decision of one system or the other.

some major companies said that most of its earnings come from PS3 versions of their games, ibelive ubisoft or EA said so...... in fact developing exclusively for the PS3 is risky rightnow but it is necessary for PS3 to increase its sales..........since you started it, x360 exclusives dun sell well too except for the few titles GOwW, HALO.

I can see SFIV selling better on PS3, but I haven't seen any info on RE5 selling better on PS3

That is subjective, I for one do not find the 360 superior to my PS3. They are on equal footing in my house.

Gmaes focused on the western market will almost certainly sell better on the 360 minor a few exceptions. Games that appeal to the western and eastern market is a different story as Japan is always in the PS3's favour. I reckon japanese devs who are making, say a JRPG, would do a lot better if its a PS3 exclusive rather than a 360 exclusive.

At the end of the day the difference between the sales of multiplat titles isn't really that large anymore so if Sony float cheques underneath developers noses its a no brainer to make games exclusive to the PS3. Vice versa for the 360 of course.
