Well E3 is less then 2 weeks away which mens huge presentations on both Move and Natal. So who do you think will win?

Personaly I think Move will win, I don't care if it is a rip off of the wii remote as long as long as it is better I don't care. And from what we have already seen with the Move being 1 to 1 with a reaction time of 22 miliseconds and operating in 3D space it seems like it is 10 times better then the wii remote. Also the Natal appeals to only a small part of the xbox fanbase since it is impossible to play fps games, unlike the Move which showed both mature games like Socom 4 and casuel games like little big planet. Also something else to think about is price, with the economy still not 100%, price is a big factor. So with Natal being rumored to cost 149.99 and a PS Move bundle which as PS Eye,PS Move, and a game for less then $100.

  1. You need more than one Move controller if you want to play with more than one person
  2. Natal supports like 4 people (no controlllerz!!11)
  3. Casuals will look at Move and say "I already have a Wii".
  4. How many casuals remember the PS Eye when seing Natal?

I still need to see more of Natal to build a proper opinion on it. With Playstation Move having a lot of similarities to Wii motion controls, we already know the technology will work... For Natal, I'm still just a bit skeptical about whether or not it will work as good as some of the tech demos make it out to be.

as I said back when this was in Legacy :P

I think natal is the safest of the two so theres a higher chance of it succeeding, but I am currently more interested in what Natal has to offer as some of the tech demo's theyve shown have really piqued my interest.

Can we just wait at least 1 more week before these threads? By then Natal will have a name, and line up...

1. Name me 5 Xbox 360 games that would be perfect for Natal!

2. The only thing that Natal can do in FPS is teabag!

3. This is so much fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT1BHz7Ck1o

That's almost exactly what I think, too. However, I do see a problem with Move; games will probably have to use full motion controls throughout, instead of having it in some areas and have regular controls in others because of the glowing ball on the front of the Move controllers. The only reason I don't think Natal will be a fairly is because it's from Microsoft. They wouldn't invest money into something that has even the slightest chance of failing, and this thing looks like it has potential. I do expect it to be used in conjunction with the 360 controller for most games, and fully for games certain genres and casual games.I think the best part about Natal is that it could be used in very simple games that may not even be good, but it'll still end up being fun.

They can both go to hell. Motion control is about the most useless "innovation" ever conceived in gaming.

With Natal, your hands are free. Games could easily merge the use of the standard controller with Natal.

Although Natal sounds like a pretty cool idea, bear in mind that it will most probably have a lot of glitches and won't function very smoothly. It won't always be able to perfectly recognise body parts + movement like in all the demos and adverts. That, and I can't really imagine any serious games being made for this. Shooters won't work, RPG's won't work, the only real kind of game that this will allow is first person sports games. Not very much variety.

As for Move, again I like the concept, PS3 + motion controls sounds very appealing. The only thing bugging me is those glowing ball things on the controllers. It was really not necessary and makes the controller look like a child's toy. Move has a lot of potential, I can see a lot of games working with this. But again until it's released there's no telling whether it will run smoothly.

Same thing I've been thinking. One thing that really annoyed me was the fake video of Natal; yes, it clearly states that it's a product vision, but people buy into the hype and completely ignore it. The video shows a lot of situations where Natal would have to read certain, subtle movements instead of your whole body, as it would in that breakout-type game that MS showed a stage demo of at E3. Natal has a lot more to prove than Move.

I just don't see how Natal can do "hardcore" games without an Analog stick to move around, I feel like Move will be more versatile so my vote is with Move.

However once natal comes with a treadmill to sense movement, my life will end and I will never leave my house

Lemmings seem to be losing any hope of core/hardcore games support from Microsoft so Natal and casual gaming is suddenly looking pretty hawt. For the rest of us Move.
